I had the absolute pleasure of working with Just Like Mama's for a corporate event last week, and I couldn't be more impressed with their exceptional service and delectable food. Ms Veda and her team at Just Like Mama's went above and beyond to make our event a resounding success.

Now, let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, it was an absolute delight for the taste buds! The BBQ chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, the rib tips were succulent and perfectly cooked, the baked beans had just the right amount of smokiness and sweetness, and the cole slaw was a refreshing balance of crunch and creaminess. I have to be honest. Went to this place today thinking I was about to be in heaven with the food based off what I seen on TV. I can say the waiters are great. Positive attitude and very helpful but the over atmosphere of the location isn't my style they don't even serve the table with water you have to buy a bottle of water for 1.99. Outside of that what I came for wasn't even an option on the menu. They said come on Wednesday for an after work set which I'm not a club/day party person I just enjoy fine dining and this wasn't it. It also took 50 minutes before I received my food. You have to write on a menu they give you take it to the cashier and they bring you your food in a to go container. Now the food was not what I was expecting at all. The Cat Fish was salty, Mac and cheese salty and lack of cheese, yams needed sugar and cinnamon and let's not get on the flour butter cookies that are 6 bucks and tastes like flour...
