Maywood Park District — Attraction in Proviso Township

Their summer camp is not age appropriate they say the ages are from 5 to 12 years old which is not the case they stayed activities which they do not do it's a bad representation of a summer camp. They have children watching children ages 15 through maybe 17 with no real guidance or knowledge of how to take care of children. my son has had an incident with one of the children counselors named will where he tried to snatch a ball and pushed and shoved my son which resulted and scratches on his forearm and shoulder. The coordinator there when speaking to my family that all in their face and was highly unprofessional stating that there was a tape recording of the incident but right before the pushing and shoving happened the tape got cut off this woman was highly aggressive on this matter and not in a positive way. I would not send your children here my son has told me before this incident happen that the children counselors their mess with the younger kids I guess because maybe they think they have some type of authority over these children. There's maybe one adult watching all of these children and there is no real organization with this...

The Maywood Park District, under this newest board and executive director Toni Dorris, is more efficient and vibrant than it has been in decades! I happened upon this place through a very good Friend of mine and her Son.We attend Church there in the Gymnasium. The People inside are just as Beautiful and well kept as the outside.
