I had a very unpleasant experience at this establishment. I wanted to order some spaghetti from this place, but despite it being worth $13, I needed to pay $3 more for meatballs. Even then, they only offered 2 meatballs for it. 2 meatballs for $3?! That's highway robbery! I should be getting a lot more than that if I'm gonna be paying extra for meatballs. So, instead, I ordered a steak sandwich with fries for a total of $17. The fries were good, but MAN, the sandwich itself was a letdown. I ordered the meat medium-rare, but I got medium-well instead. All that thing had other than the meat and bread was one slice of tomato and one lousy piece of Romanian lettuce. The meat had no char, no sauce... not even salt! The sandwich looked like something my ex-roommate back in college whipped up in a hurry before his chemistry class one time - very unappetizing. The only reason I ate it anyway was because I was more hungry than pissed, and I refused to let even food like what I got go to waste. The sandwich was DEFINITELY not worth $14! I left this place with a strong feeling of being ripped off. I am never eating at this establishment again. The only reason I still tipped was because at least the staff here were nice people. I cannot punish them for the mistakes of the chef - or those of the owner(s) for pricing the food I paid for as...
Read moreOverall Rating: 6.2/10 This venue provides a distinct dining experience with a retro vibe, offering well-executed dishes and efficient service, albeit in an atmosphere that feels somewhat dated.
Atmosphere: 5.9/10 The separation of the bar and dining room is a thoughtful design choice, enhancing the dining experience. However, the overall ambiance feels like a throwback to the 80s, with decor and a setup that may appeal to some but might feel outdated to others.
Service: 5.9/10 Service was smooth and efficient, with the order placed over the phone handled professionally and everything prepared on time. The staff's pleasant demeanor added to the positive service experience.
Food:
Cheese Pizza: 6.5/10 This dish was a highlight, featuring a perfectly cooked crispy undercarriage and flavorful cheese topped with just the right amount of oil. The bold taste suggests the use of good quality ingredients, making it a satisfying choice.
Cheese Fried Ravioli: 5.1/10 A decent dish but not particularly memorable. The ravioli was average, although the accompanying sauce was noted for its good flavor.
Value: 6.4/10 The pricing was deemed appropriate for the quality and taste of the food served. The value assessment reflects a satisfactory cost-to-quality ratio, making it a reasonable option for those...
Read moreTerrible service. The waitresses were too busy chatting in the back to care about taking a timely order. Drinks with 3 kids and 1 adult were quick then she disappeared in the back for over 10 minutes. I actually started writing this review while waiting. When she finally took the order which was simple she had to repeat it 4 times because she kept messing it up. The sad part is there was literally NO other patrons in the establishment.
The order: 1 GF sausage pizza, 1 - 14" bacon pizza and kids pasta with meatball and meat sauce with a side salad no olives with croutons. Again, no one else was in the restaurant area.
The place itself is a basic pizza place with attached bar, nothing fancy. Overall it appeared to be clean. The seating was uncomfortable with all wood benches and seats, definitely designed to keep people moving and not linger which is a necessity for a smaller place. This place is probably more of a take out joint.
The Food:
Side Salad: Basic iceberg lettuce. Do not get the house Italian it was terrible and basically just oil.
GF Pizza: Awesome Bacon Pizza: Awesome Pasta and Meatballs: good
