The one star reflects the fact that everything combined, we won't be back. Had heard a lot about this place and seen it several times. Decided to give it a try on a Saturday night and were very disappointed. Waited about five minutes for a host to seat us with no mention of any wait. Once seated we ordered Happy Hour beers and were surprised that instead of two beers for the price of one, we each received two beers. This turned out to be a good thing because little did we know it would be an hour before we got food, so might as well stay hydrated. Then as everyone mentions, chips & salsa for $6.99 were delivered. Once those were gone and our server had been to the table several times to let us know they hadn't forgotten our order, we started to get hangry. At one point we were offered complimentary birthday sundaes for the long wait (we never received that). Over an hour later after letting our server know we were ready to leave, she said give her three minutes and to our surprise she returned with our meals. The servings were large. That's the best thing I can say about them. They were flavorless and for the price paid very disappointing. We heard someone at the table next to us compare the red sauce to ketchup. They were spot on. My husband was unable to distinguish his green sauce from the beans. Still not sure he even got green sauce. We each left over half of our meals on the table. Upon leaving we spoke with the Manager who seemed like there was zero concern on customer satisfaction. We were clear then that we would not be back, we just chalk this pricey disappointment to lesson learned.

Very nice place. Service was terrific and the food fantastic. The special Garlic and Onion burrito was delicious and HUGE. The Veracrusanas was actually spicy. I say this because many times they say it but the food has little bite. This has A LOT of bite but has a fantastic flavor and again, 4 enchiladas and a huge serving. We also asked for a spicy Margarita. It was not on the menu but our server( great service) said she and the bartender thought they could do it. When she brought it it was delicious and spicy. She told us they tasted bits of 2 or 3 jalapenos till they found one they thought might be spicy enough!! Now that's service and follow through. This will become one of our favorites now that we found it. Definitely a go to place.

You can't find an updated menu for this place because they are scared to post how much they charge. $18 for a sloppy half wrapped California burrito? You can get a better bigger Cali burrito from literally ANY other Mexican food place.....probably anywhere in the world. Quality was definitely not worth the price and flavor is lacking. You would have a hard time finding a bigger ripoff in town Edit: that's not an altered photo....that's the quality you guys produce. Yeah you price matched then still messed up the order and left the green chili out of one of the burritos. I will forever badmouth this establishment and warn people of what to expect when they make the mistake of trying the quality of your food.

Garlic and Onions was recommended to us by someone that was doing some work for us. We just moved here and thought we would try it for date night. We drove over (about 20 minutes from our home) and the parking lot was packed. I thought, oh good, it’s popular, it must be good! I drove around the block waiting for a spot to open up, and it did. We went inside around 7:40pm. There was no hostess, but one appeared within a few minutes. Said it was a 10 minute wait. No problem, we sat and waited. It was very loud in the dinning rooms. Not sure if it was the crowd last night, or if it’s more to do with the way sound carries in this building. We were sat fairly quickly, but then had no service. A waitress that appeared to not be ours stopped by the table and asked if we had been helped yet and we replied no. She said she would check on things for us. She then came back a couple minutes later and said she was going to take care of us and apologized. She seemed nice, but service was still fairly slow. We got our drinks and ordered our meals (beef enchiladas and chicken and steak fajitas). We received chips and salsa (I believe as an apology because I think you have to order/pay for it here). The chips and salsa were good. Salsa was spicy and had great flavor. My food came, but my wife’s fajitas didn’t come out for about 5 minutes still. I felt like I should wait for my wife’s food to begin eating. Her fajitas came out sizzling hot, but the steak and chicken were over cooked, dry, and didn’t have much flavor. My beef enchiladas were also bland, although the hot green chili was good. The rice and beans were also good. We anticipated having fried ice cream for dessert, but because we waited so long for everything, it was closing time by the time we finished our meals. The worst part of our experience came on our drive home. We both got sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea and couldn’t get off the toilet. I suspect it was the salsa or the rice because those are the items we had in common, other than our Coke beverages. I wanted to email the restaurant to let them know, as I suspect others probably got sick too and they might contact the restaurant. I’ll report this to the health department as well. I hope whatever made us sick will be thrown out and not used. Needless to say, we likely won’t...

Not happy to leave this review because it was one of our favorite restaurants. However, 3 of us sat down and ordered today. Waitress approached us twice that our food will be out shortly. After 45 minutes or more, we noticed that 4 other tables had received there food that arrived and ordered after us. I am a patient guy but wife asked what was the deal and Waitress told us that they sat and ordered b4 us...and that they were short staffed and then said, "I don't know how else to explain it to you." Well, I'm not a real educated man but when I see what I see, Maybe one should listen to the customer Instead of giving an excuse that is invalid. I only wish the owner would have come out to talked to us. It would have gone a long way for me. Too bad for the wait staff in general because we are appreciative of good service and tip well...not today. We didn't stay the additional 10 minutes that she said was gonna take for our food, which would have taken us well beyond an hour and frustration when seeing others that arrived 20 - 30 minutes after us getting their food. I'm sure there was a mistake in the kitchen or with our server...just be honest. Being short staffed and her statement that they were here first was not true for our issue. 2 stars only because we rarely have an issue at this restaurant. Today was not good and will have to reconsider going back...
