Sam's Inn Restaurant — Restaurant in Quantico

Absolutely disgusting. I came up from South Carolina to see my wife and she wanted to take me here. She's never been herself, but has had a few chicken wraps delivered to her and said they were pretty tasty. Anyway, when we arrived we sat at the bar and ordered a few rounds of beer. The guy behind the bar literally slung the beers on the counter in front of us -- no coasters and beer overflowing. My wife and I looked at each other, both thinking it was quite different. After a few minutes, we ordered two of those chicken wraps she liked so much.

No joke, there was a vat of cut up chicken sitting on top of the grill, which was located right behind the bar about 20 feet away. The guy slung the chicken onto the grill and started cooking it. In the meantime, this same guy was playing with a little girl behind the bar. I'm assuming it was his daughter because the mother was on the other side (next to us) eating a hamburger and watching TV on the wall behind the bar. After hugging and kissing this little girl, he sat her up on the bar (LITERALLY ON THE BAR) on gave her the remote. She had a diaper on and was sharing the burger with her mom. Her hands were in her mouth and she was touching the remote and sliding back and forth in her diaper on top of the bar. I could tell my wife wasn't feeling this and neither was I.

Here's where I lost it...

The two gentlemen sitting next to us at the bar paid for their food, with cash. The bartender handled the CASH AND COIN CHANGE, and then walked back over to our food and started touching and preparing it. He never ONCE washed his hands. This is the same guy who slopilly slung our beers onto the counter, handled a dirty child, and handled cash bills and coins. I got up, paid for our beers and my wife and I left.

Long story short, the people running this joint are disgusting pigs who seem to have been operating like this for quite some time. They're perfectly fine with that, and it shows. My god, I don't even want to know how much filth and disgust is hiding back in the kitchen or the coolers. I'll be contacting the health department as soon as I can because this place does not deserve to be in business. Most importantly, I'm glad this happened so my wife no longer...

My family and I are currently residing in a hotel room on Quantico MCB. It's my first time ordering from this restaurant. I called to place an order for delivery and was automatically put on hold for five minutes and forty-six seconds, then the lady got back on the phone. She even had the audacity to tell me that she "forgotten" that I was still on the line. I should have reprimand and then hung up on her! But I had three little hungry children and I did not have a vehicle to go anywhere since my husband drove it to work. Anyway, she told me to "hold on for a second", which was more like a two to three minutes. Then she got back on the line and ask me what would I like to order. I placed my order, she told me that it'll take up to 30 minutes for delivery. It actually took them over a hour to deliver our food! Once, it made it here, the ice in the sweetened iced tea was completely melted and lukewarm! The food was soggy and cold! They didn't even give me any cocktail sauce for my shrimp basket! They definitely DID NOT deserve a tip! I shouldn't even tip them at all! I DO NOT recommend this place! This is freaking outrageous! Horrible service and horrible food!...

Ok....usually places to eat on base are so so as everyone may know....but this place was definitely a pleasant surprise!!! I was in a super bad mood because I was hungry and wanted something good....well let me tell you....this place is a hidden gem.... the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything home made and fresh.... the homemade salad dressings were absolutely delightful!! I could literally buy a bucket full of the ranch and Caesar dressing!! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap which is usually boring but a safe bet....the chicken was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on it complimented the wrap perfectly accompanied with the amazing dressing I literally ate the whole thing and wanted more!!! Their French fries are delicious with their own special seasoning on them. My husband got the gyro bowl and he literally scarfed it and said the lamb was extremely tender and very tasty. My son got the meatlovers pizza and it was packed with meat!! It definitely brightened my day and put me in a much better mood!!! I would certainly take the trip on base again...
