Place- Cold as a morgue, it was super cold inside, everyone I was with was freezing, our food got cold fast. horrible experience eating in a cold place, the other option was eating outside where it was hot and muggy.
There is no need to put the temperature so low that your food gets cold in less than 5 Minutes. Unless they are using it as a tactic to get people off the tables as soon as possible? Which is a known practice in some places, the more tables they serve, the more money and tip they make. Sorry but no place with expensive mediocre food should be that damn cold. I will never visit this place again, second time I've gone there and I am convinced they are keeping it cold to chase people out.
Food- was ok, nothing great, Fried fish was so dry it was yellow inside. Conch salad was horrible according to my Father In-law, I had my plate changed and the second dish was even worse than the first it was a Mofongo dish with cheese on it, stake, shrimp, and chicken? Taste was horrible, cheese over took all the flavors of shrimp, steak, chicken. Wife had a chicken plate of some kind and she said it wasn't all that either 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Service- Was good no complaints there.
It's was my second time there and my last and I will not recommend this place to anyone. No one likes to eat in a freezing Restaurant. Horrible 2nd experience.
So sorry I wanted to like this place and show my in-laws a good time, good dinner, but it was an absolute letdown.

I don't eat much, so I had a small plate containing some rice, a piece of rib, a few sweet potato fries & a couple of cocktails to down the food. The table Waiter on a scale of 1-10 was about a 5. I asked for the most experienced Waiter & the one that services us had to call another Waiter, who then had to call another Waiter so they could explain to me what where the contents of a drink I wanted to order off the menu! Incredible! Then upon going to the register to pay the bill, no one was attending the register. I had to wait close to 10 minutes. And last but not least, I asked the Waiter for a lid to place on top of my drink so I can finish it on my way out, & I had to mention it again as her little attention span forgot to bring it the first time I asked. Read moreMy family and I drove to this location after my father's viewing. It is a very nice and clean location with a friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant inside has signs posted in different areas that are named after the local neighborhoods and is decorating with fishing decor as well as pilones (mortar and pestle). The menu has a great variety of foods. There is a platter that feeds 6 people and has every meat as well as fish and sides served on a boat style server. I had the mofongo with churrasco with the ajillo sauce. Mofongo is smashed fried plantains in the shape of a bowl filled with the churrasco which is the stomach lining of a cow. Sounds outlandish but it is absolutely delicious. The fish from there is outstanding also. All the food was of the highest quality and absolutely worth every penny.
