Revised in Mar 2022 and also April 2021 from July 2017. Two beautiful Ceibas trees, to be honest there is really 5 Ceibas trees. If you are driving from Quebradilla to Camuy on Carretera 2, you will notice one to your right and two more on your left side in the middle of the Carretera. It's always a pleasure to see nature at it's best. It's also rear to see two of these trees be as close as these two are. I can only hope they last for many years to come and that other people will appreciate their beauty like I did. These two are big but they still need many more years to become their full potential. When I say that, I mean just Google, "Ceibas tree in Vieques" and you will understand what I mean. That's a big old tree and it's over 300+ years old. One of the oldest Ceibas tree in PR but not doing so good is the one in Ponce, estimated to be about 500 years old. It's more then half dead but still has some life.

Ubicado en el pueblo de Quebradillas, para verlos de cerca hay que tener mucha precaución ya que está entre medio de dos carreteras de alto volumen vehicular aunque están protegidas por unas vallas. Sería bueno que el gobierno les diera cuidados ya que tienen mucho comejen, pero sus voluptuosas raíces tienen mucho que contar, importante que en algunas áreas de las Ceibas tienen como unas púas filosas.

On my drive to crash boat beach in Aguadilla, I spotted these beautiful Ceiba trees (thought they were mangroves?) and immediately was awe struck by their magnificence. I would suggest that when you find yourself in driving through Quebradillas that you take a photo op. This is what you call a nugget in your travels to Puerto 🇵🇷...

Unos árboles súper hermosos y maravillosos. En realidad son tres en línea. Uno se nota mucho más joven que los otros. Es una gran sensación poderlos ver de cerca y pensar toda la historia que habrán presenciado. Resistieron la furia de María. Creo que todo puertorriqueño debe ir. Se siente paz. Ver las enormes raíces y su forma y pensar como será debajo de la tierra es motivo de meditación. Las obras de arte de la naturaleza son insuperables. Todos deben sacar un rato para estar ante su majestuosa presencia. Le recomiendo...
