I've been trying to find a good breakfast place for a while, with no luck. Today a friend recommended San Tan Cafe. The restaurant was packed, and people were waiting outside to be seated...I'm guessing because it was Valentine's day, but a crowd lining up all the way to outside the restaurant is a good sign. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. We ordered coffee, which was too weak and very disappointing. Breakfast was good though. I ordered over medium eggs, which were perfectly done, pancakes were fluffy and had a slight crisp on the outside. Our second visit was February 20th... The place was busy, but not packed like on Valentine's day. Again, the staff was friendly and welcoming. My husband order steak and eggs. The steak was over cooked, and his over medium eggs had some runny whites. I ordered the chicken fried steak with over medium eggs which were good. Coffee was still too weak. Pancakes were good. This is still the best place we've been to for breakfast so far. We will be back again...I just wish the coffee was better.

My mom and I had such an incredible time here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and spotless — like stepping into a cozy hometown café. The servers were genuinely friendly, cheerful, and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The portions are huge (definitely come hungry!). We shared the Country Omelet and a half order of biscuits and gravy — both absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The coffee was piping hot and rich, just the way it should be, and the buttermilk pancake was fluffy, moist, and melt-in-your-mouth good. If you’re looking for great food, generous portions, and the kind of service that makes you feel right at home, this is the place to go!

I used to come here all the time. I loved the food and service. I had family in town so I went in with a party of seven. I showed up about 20min before my other party. They sat me and everything seemed fine. One of the ladies that works there was very rude. About five minutes after sitting down she asked if the rest of my party was coming because she had people waiting. There was two tables empty and dirty along with one lady that works there doing paper work on one of the big tables they have in the corner. I told her yes they were running a little behind she walked away. She came back about 5 minutes later and said I am going to have to move you to a smaller table because I have people waiting granted I understand when people are waiting but this whole time there were only two couple waiting with two dirt tables still and a lady still doing paper work on another. I don't understand how you can tell me I have move or leave the table when one of the people that work here are taking up a table and two have empty and dirty for 10 minutes. I can tell you if she would have been nicer about it I would have been fine with it but to have an attitude about it is ridiculous. As I was getting up to leave my whole family walked in. I was telling them wharves going on and we left. This place should really teach their employees a little respect to their guest especially when they come here all the time. I told a ton of people about this place because I liked it so much. It only takes one person to take anyway a lot of business. We will never come back here again due to the lady...

What a great spot. We just moved here from TX and are trying places around us. We are kinda on the edge of the city and usually have to drive 20-30 minutes to find a great place to eat. I am glad we finally found a great spot not 5 minutes from us. Cleanliness of the restaurant was good. There was a wait late in the morning when we arrived. Not too bad though. The wait staff did take about 10 minutes to bring our drink orders after dropping off the menu. We decided to try the chicken fried steak and the signature french toast. Order took 35 minutes to come out, which seems a bit long to me but I also understand they were super busy. Note: when the wait staff did come around, they were very friendly. Well the chicken friend steak is about what we expect. Really good. However, the french toast made me forget about the wait. WOW. What a great concept for french toast. I don't believe I have had anything outside of normal french toast before and this was just awesome. Saving the best for last, the price. Very reasonable prices for breakfast compared to a breakfast / brunch location we went to yesterday. I really want to give 5 starts but have to do 4 for the time being because of the wait. No doubt I will be going back in the near future and will update if the next experience has a much...

One of the best breakfasts' I've had in awhile!! The place itself was in a questionable building with a Hookah lounge and Thrift store, but you're in the right place. Staff was super nice. Our waitress was Thai. Gotta love the spelling. HANDS DOWN FAVORITE PART WAS THE HOT CHOCOLATE !! $5.25 seems silly to pay for hot chocolate, but trust me, it is WORTH IT. The mug is big and it comes with MARSHMALLOWS!! It was the perfect temperature with whip and chocolate syrup. 10/10 recommend. I had the hamburger chuck pattie, normally comes with eggs, which I don't eat so Thai was nice enough to give me a double serving of potatoes I stead. I also opted to a pancake instead of toast, which I kind of wish I didn't do because the pancake was not very good. But the rest off the food was. Hamburger was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The potatoes tasted like potatoes with a touch of seasoning and crunchy, which I love. Husband had no food left on his plate either. Everything was superb. He did saw if he could redo it, he's opt for my country potatoes instead if the hash browns because the country potatoes would've added more of a wholesome flavor. It is fairly cold inside but in AZ, that's...
