Paid $31 for two people. And it should not have been that much. We first came in & our waitress asked us how we wanted our steak cooked (it came with the buffet) & my fiancé & I both said medium. The steak came about 20 minutes later, after we had already a plate of food, and it was OVER well done and burnt on the outside. The buffet food was barely lukewarm, and so was the pasta salad. It seemed like the food had been out for hours. The meat didn't seem like good quality and for dessert, there was only cut up different flavors of cupcakes and ice cream. The ice cream section had the ice cream scoopers in a bowl of water, to make the ice cream easier to scoop, except it had been soaking in that bowl for god knows how long. It was murky water. We've been to a lot of buffets and this was just bad. No one at the restaurant asked us how the food was or even checked on our table. Neglectful service and overpriced...
Read moreAt first my wife and I were put off by the appearance of the building, high prices and the different style of ordering food. For Pete's sake, the signs had me questioning if it was even somewhere to eat or somewhere you buy raw product. I had very low expectations and maybe even expected to die.
BUT then we got the food home and holy nuts, it's obvious why the price is like that. They stuff these things full of food. And it's good food, my certified very Asian wife says it's so good. So I'd trust her if I were you. We couldn't even finish 1/3rd of the meal. Pictures taken were after we were full already but were so surprised we had to write something. We had a bento box with chicken and broccoli, and a Mongolian beef combination.
This here is a class A hole in the wall, the kind you can't judge...
Read moreThose give 5 starts apparently never visit a REAL Chinese buffet. The food is TOO salty. Need to reduce the salt by 75% across the board. They probably add extra salt on purpose to make you drink a lot of water than eating a lot of their food. Or to make you feel full faster so you don't have to eat all their food. The restaurant size is little bit smaller than standard Chinese buffet. $14 per person for person for dinner is TOO expensive. Everywhere in US main land the price equivalent to THIS buffet size is $9-$10. And lastly what tick me off the most is the sweet. It JUST muffins..... Yep just sliced up muffins from your everyday hotel...
