Marco’s Pizza — Restaurant in Río Grande

I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes, I had to hang up.and call again only to be placed on hold AGAIN. I finally order my pizza and I'm told I.have to wait 40 minutes to.an hour. I called back within the hour bc my pizza hadn't arrived and was told it was about to go out. I finally got it 1 hour and 20 minutes later. I told the delivery person but there was no apology for the delay. Finally, the pizza was overdone, the cheese was brown and the crust was one shade lighter than burnt. The cheesy bread came with the tomato sauce cup filled less than half way.

I keep ordering from Marco's bc the pizza is normally very good but something needs to be done about the phone and delivery service.

I like this pizzeria and would like to continue ordering from here; this review is made only as constructive criticism. I see other reviews have mentioned these issues. I'm hopeful that Marcos will work on...

Pretty deceiving appearance of this business. It IS easy to order, well managed website, but absolutely terrible taste of two items i made mistake to order. Pizza crust was very saggy, ingredients must be from left overs of other dishes. Calzone undercooked with very low quality ingredients. Everything was delivered almost half an hour later from estimated time and low temperature. “Track your order” was not available due to “driver’s gps turned off” Advertised option “contactless delivery” was chosen, but not respected. Driver still had me to come downstairs and signed already paid receipt. In addition to delivery charges, tips were paid BEFORE the order was delivered, then food tasted...and thrown to the trash. Don't trust all the FAKE 5 STAR reviews. My sister in law was completely scammed at this Marco's Pizza. They tuck advantage of her limited Spanish when she left a pizza paid for me to later pick up. Claiming not to have gift certificates. Only later to find out they did sell gift certificates on line, after never honoring the sale when I went to pick up. Even with the recipe.
