El Verde BBQ is a popular barbecue restaurant located in the heart of the city. Known for its delicious smoked meats and flavorful sauces, El Verde BBQ has become a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. However, one thing that sets El Verde BBQ apart from other restaurants is their payment policy - they only accept credit cards or cash, and do not take any other forms of payment.
This payment policy may seem inconvenient to some customers who prefer to pay with alternative methods such as mobile payment apps or checks. However, El Verde BBQ has chosen to stick to this policy for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons is that credit cards and cash are the most secure forms of payment, providing both the restaurant and the customer with protection against fraud and theft. By only accepting these forms of payment, El Verde BBQ is able to ensure the safety and security of their transactions.
Another reason for El Verde BBQ's payment policy is that it helps to streamline their operations and make the payment process more efficient. By only accepting credit cards or cash, the restaurant is able to avoid the complications and delays that can come with accepting multiple forms of payment. This allows them to focus on providing excellent service and delicious food to their customers, without having to worry about the logistics of processing payments.
While some customers may be inconvenienced by El Verde BBQ's payment policy, the restaurant has made it clear that they are willing to accommodate those who may not have access to credit cards or cash. They have set up an ATM on site for customers who need to withdraw cash, and are always willing to work with customers to find a solution that works for everyone.
In conclusion, El Verde BBQ's decision to only accept credit cards or cash is a strategic choice that helps to ensure the security and efficiency of their operations. While it may be inconvenient for some customers, the restaurant has taken steps to make the payment process as smooth as possible for everyone. So next time you find yourself craving some delicious barbecue, be sure to bring along your credit card or cash to enjoy a meal at...
Read moreVery bad experience. My girlfriend and I came from the states for vacation and was told how good El Verde was. It was 15 minutes from Luquillo Beach. When we arrived, there was a line, which gave us the impression that it was a popular place. It raised the excitement to try the food. We got in line and understood the Covid restrictions of having people 6 feet apart. However, that restriction is meant for people that aren’t in the same group. 2 people traveling together doesn’t mean they both cannot order together. While standing in line, we kept hearing a female worker yelling at people on line. Stating “I don’t care if people are here as couples, only one person orders at a time”. Some people were trying to explain how they was ordering separate and that couples are ordering together because they are paying together.
There wasn’t any visible menu. So it would make sense for a couple to both go to the counter to see what they wanted.
The female employee sounded like she was the owner. She continuously yelled “PUNJETA” and yelling at customers on the line. This made my girlfriend and I very uncomfortable which led us to leave the line, get in our car and go. Fortunately, we were able to find great service at T’ Ujuana in old San Juan to make up for such a bad experience at El Verde BBQ.
Whoever that woman was should be fired...
Read moreThis place is easily one of the best places to get food. Right on highway 3 heading towards Rio Mar. I saw reviews so I wanted to try it for myself and it did not disappoint at all.
They sell pretty much everything by the pound (or half pound). Roast pork. Fried pork. Ribs. And chicken - chicken is sold by the half chicken. It all looked so good so I got a pound if each (for 2 people). More than enough food. Also had sweet potato and plantains. All of the food is good. Every. Bit. Of. It. I loved the ribs and roast pork the most. There are rice and beans and yuca which I did not try. They also have (I only know it by what its called on another island) pudding, but I dont care for that.
I came back 3 days later and got just the ribs and fried pork (they didnt have roast pork thst day). Still very happy. I think its all very affordable and for the quality and amount of food its better than going to a restaurant. This will 100% be a stop for me everytime I’m there.
They also have drinks there (alcoholic and non) so its really a one stop shop. There are tables on site to sit at if you want to eat there. Again its right off the highway so don’t expect it to be some quiet romantic place - this isnt that. Its 100% worth a visit if you are passing by or...
