I went with my son this evening (TODAY JULY 8) First, I don’t know why they ask how I would like the skirt steak if they’ll always bring it well done. I ordered stuffed mofongo with skirt steak (you can find way better mofongos believe me), I had to return it because it was chewy. The second time I ate it because I was hungry and the cooker took a life to cooke it.

The waitress never brought me the drink I ordered, never passed by to ask us about food and drinks, I had to eat without something to drink. I waved couple of times just to be ignored and at the time to ask for check I had to go to to the bar because we waited to long.

They charged me the drink, when the bartender noticed, she poured me the drink for “take out” and said to me in a really rude manner way “I will make it and you’ll have to pay it”. I asked for manager or supervisor and never came out, they charged me for the drink and for the TERRIBLE SERVICE, in which they never apologized and just said “THERE’S ONLY ONE STAFF IN FLOOR AND IS NOT THE WAITRESS FAULT” I said to her that is not my problem (She wasn’t the only only one by the way) I came to eat and have a nice time, service was terrible, I didn’t even get a glass of water, I was ignored and charged for a mojito that by the way, awful as well but I’m guessing it was on purpose. By the time to pay I didn’t give tips which she tried to pursue me and forcing me to pay the full amount. I had to remind her the law, about I don’t just give out tips, tips are earned, and I’m not satisfied for the service this restaurant provided me.

I recommend this for only drinks and starters not a family night restaurant. Saved your money for better restaurants and food around the area. Worst $80 spend.

One star for the Service. They where nice but treated us like we were outsiders.

The drinks from the bar took way, WAY too long. They were very good and would have had more but server never came back to us to see if we wanted to order more.

$130 for the most nastiest food we have had in PR. (The beach huts had 5star food compared to this place.)

1hr and 10 min to get our food we were one of only 3 tables at 730pm. I would never leave someone a bad review but the food is trash and the service sucked.

I hope my tip went to the bar tender who did great at his job and made good drinks.

We ordered : mofongo (the worst we have had so far) Chicken nuggets + fries Fried Chicken chunks (which were actually dry flavorless fried chicken wings) Grilled chicken + creole with fried plantains (could only take a bite of each) Flank steak + white rice (which was the only good thing and actually really good)

This is the first ever bad review we have written but for $130 worth of food that was left on the table I hope this helps someone else (especially with young kids late at night waiting over an hour for some...

This is one of the first places we ate when we got to Puerto Rico and it was one of the best. The atmosphere was fun but still very family friendly (something that we found to be a bit rare, at least in the places where we traveled). The staff were extremely nice and helpful. And I could seriously live off of their green plantain mofongo and Todas las Fruitas mojitos for the rest of my life and be happy. Prices were reasonable, service was good, bathrooms were clean, etc. Overall a great experience.

Two suggestions/comments - they have kind of an unusual way of having people wait for seating and if you don't speak enough Spanish to read the sign, you might assume that the restaurant is about to close or that you should use another entrance. Just wait at the rope and someone will come out eventually. Also, there is a patio with a beautiful view of the water, but you can't sit next to it unless you are with an extremely large party, as all the tables next to it are huge. Not sure why they made that decision.

But overall this was a...

Came last night for some drinks and mofongo and loved it so much came back today. Last night I had mofongo with masitas de cerdo and my daughter mofongo with shrimps in garlic sauce. Superb!! Today we are having carne frita and arroz mampesteado, and she is having the same with rice and beans. The parcha mojito was out of this planet, had it two days on a row. The waiter Samily from last night was amazing and the chef deserves a smack (in a good way) for how good this food is. Marilee today was super attentive and equally amazing. Great food plus great service . Will come again when my travels brings me back to PR😃

The first thing that appealed to me is the outdoor seating. Yes, it isn't far from a busy road, but it's far enough. The service was really top notch. Very friendly, And for the non-native Spanish speakers reading the review, everyone speaks English. I had the shrimp on creole sauce with mofongo, which was a like bland, so I'd recommend getting one of other shrimp options. They also have a range of non-alcoholic drinks/mocktails, which are quite good. Well worth it.

Wife and I grabbed dinner here on a weeknight. Food was delicious. I had the grilled chicken with Puerto Rican style rice, she had the shrimp with greens, both in garlic sauce. Portions were good size and hot, like fresh from the kitchen. We both enjoyed our meals very much. Service was great. The lady who served us was super friendly and even though there was a little bit of a language barrier she was easy to understand and had no problem with our order.
