Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Racine

I recently pre-ordered a pizza from Domino's scheduled it to arrive at 10:50 a.m. One of the highlights of this experience was that someone from Domino’s reached out beforehand to let me know that a driver wasn’t yet available and asked how I wanted to proceed. I truly appreciated that call and the courtesy they showed it reflected good customer service and communication.

Unfortunately, the follow through on the order didn’t go as smoothly. Even though the representative was professional and polite, it took another hour before my pizza actually arrived. When it did, the pizza looked great at first glance, but it was cold, had very little tomato sauce, and wasn’t as cheesy as expected. I also ordered the Philly Cheese Tots, which were visually appealing but a bit dry, and the garden salad didn’t feel worth the price point.

What made it disappointing was that I had specifically discussed with the representative that I was fine waiting as long as the pizza was made fresh when a driver became available. Despite that conversation, it seems the pizza was baked much earlier than planned. It would have been nice if the store had added a small token of appreciation for the extended wait something simple like a complimentary dessert to acknowledge the delay.

Overall, I’d say the experience had both highs and lows: great customer service upfront, but execution that fell short on quality and timing. I’m giving three stars because the communication was appreciated, but I hope next time the follow-through matches the...

Shout out to the staff at Domino's on Durand St on Saturday late night, the men didn't have to serve us so late but they did! The pizza was hot, good and very well served!!! Best customer service (and I live in Utah)! Thanks for reminding me and showing my children why I missed Racine so much! After flying in and having to switch flights my children were extremely exhausted and hungry. I had just spent alot of money on a small snack at the airport and I didn't want to do that again lol. Any how! You could see the look on the cooks faces when we walked in so late lol (-I work fast food myself lol I know the look). However, they were still very professional and still took our order 15 minutes before closing. They didn't have too and I felt bad doing so. Yet, I'm glad they did. I ordered two large pizzas and garlic bread, they said 45 minutes I waited more than an hour, I tried calling because I gave specific instructions for them to call me when they got to my place, they didn't call me when they got hear and left my pizzas and garlic bread on my stairs outside, by the time I went to check outside to wait for the driver to come I found my two pizzas and garlic bread very cold outside, usually the drivers call me and not one driver has ever done this before, I'm very disappointed in this order and tried calling the restaurant and they had closed already, I would like a refund or another two large pizzas and garlic bread hot and free.
