My Hot Spot | Fine Dining Restaurant — Restaurant in Radcliff

I’m new to the area and I do not have my grill unpacked yet. I was running errands and saw a grill smoking and a U-turn later I was greeted by a great man named Mr. Lou! He went through the menu with me And shared all of the possible options for my dinner order. Everything sounds so good but I was honestly headed up the street for some fish. So I asked Mr. Lou to make me a whiting sandwich. The price is great , portions were generous, fresh and hot. I enjoyed my whiting sandwich. And he’s full of great advice and knowledge of his craft and the neighborhood. I’m looking forward to him offering delivery soon and weekend hours would be great but for now Monday through Friday about dinner time you’ll probably find me next...

This place is a hidden gem! Mr Lou’s customer service was above and beyond. When he saw us pull up, he walked out, greeted us and then even turned on the exterior lights so we could see the menu better, then he went through the menu with us (identifying which items he was out of, which I always appreciate because it makes my food decision making easier). The food was absolutely amazing!! The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had! The collards greens were legendary and the cornbread was on point! The burger, sausage and bake beans were outstanding. Overall, one of the best meals I’ve had in the Ft Knox/ Louisville area! My husband and myself stopped to get gas and couldn't help walking over to get some of the delicious smelling food. First time stopping here and so glad we did. He greeted us outside and went over the menu thoroughly. We both ordered a burger with a side. While we waited he offered us a chicken leg, I've ate lots of chicken but you could taste the smoke and the seasoning throughout the chicken itself. Very very good. The burgers, collard greens and my squash/zucchini were great as well. We even got Cornbread wasn't expecting that. Cant wait to stop by and order some other items.
