Actually last night was my first time going on the inside although my sister and I didn't get past the front entrance. The checkin window had a sign posted for cash or cash app no cards accepted. We asked the attendant what was the problem. He said they were awaiting someone to run a line for their machine in which I was thinking some type of cable or internet...not sure! My sister had to ask what was he saying like 3 or4 times before we could get an clear answer don't know if that was a music problem or a hearing issue. We had enough cash to do our cover charge which wasn't bad 15 dollars a piece on a holiday weekend but of course we had to go and grab some cash out of the atm in order to purchase drinks anyway long story short the atm didn't work. Eventually we ended up sitting outside in the parking lot to see what type of crowd frequented the establishment. It didn't seem to be bad. Middle age or older crowd couples and singles which appeared to be very well established folk. Dressed casually and drove elaborate vehicles. So with my sister and I being middle aged women we have decided that we would prepare for another visit. They do offer outside seating as well. The upkeep of the property seems to be well maintained as far as I can see. The parking area could be repaired somewhat. I would advise older people to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI always have a wonderful time at the Blue Oasis. Gwen does an excellent job running the establishmentāsheās professional and attentive, especially when it comes to maintaining order and upholding the dress code, which I really appreciate. It creates a classy, respectful atmosphere where I generally feel safe and welcomed.
One small area that could use some attention is the front door experience. On a few occasions, Iāve noticed the security guard interacting with guests in a way that can come across as being sarcastic. While I completely understand the importance of maintaining security, a friendlier tone would help enhance the overall vibe and make guests feel even more comfortable from the moment they arrive.
That said, the Blue Oasis remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a night out. The energy is upbeat, the crowd is fun, andābest of allāpeople actually dance! If youāre looking for a spot where the atmosphere is lively and inviting, and where the gentlemen arenāt shy about asking the ladies to dance, this is definitely the place to be.
Update: itās apparent the owner spoke to the Security Guard as he now presents much friendlier....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBased on my 1st experience Sunday, I probably won't return. The door guy advertised penny drinks after telling us it was $10 each person. We had no idea and immediately started checking for change. Once inside went to the bar. I just pulled out my card and paid so fast I forgot about the penny drinks. My friend reminded me and we then explained to the bartender how we were just told about the penny drinks she said it ended at 9 which at this point its about 915 or so. She went and got the door man and he said he told us it ended at 9. That ABSOLUTELY was not the case and he lied straight to our faces. Not that it really mattered as we were coming to drink anyway and had no idea about the special. At the end of the day it is the principle. Ok. It ended at 9. It's just after 9. You may not have realized its now after 9 but DONT LIE!!! The bartender tried to make it right but this being our 1st time here it was a horrible impression which will probably...
