I went specifically for the Wicked Weed Tap Takeover the first weekend in June and there were 52 taps of Asheville craft beer on all the taps. I loved the design of the restaurant with ample seating outside and misting units to keep the patio cool in the summer heat. If you remember the previous location, this was a Salsarita's. BCBG has the same owners as Brasa, Red Monkey Tavern and Crabtree Beer Garden at the mall. The layout with wooden beams and beer garden tables are very nice and there is seating at the bar or at one of the tables. There is no connection to the Raleigh Beer Garden and that is a completely different venue and owner. Each visit, we were promptly seated and had a group of 6 and then just the two of us for lunch the next visit. There are televisions so you won't miss a sporting event and the staff wears casual BCBG t shirts. There is a food menu with weekend brunch options and other entrees. The beer list was separate and if beer isn't your beverage of choice, they also make a few mixed drinks and serve wine. Also, if can't find a beer on draft, you can purchase a bottle and they offer a great selection in their little bottle shop on the wall. I was really impressed with their craft selection. For entrees, we had the poutine and our table guests devoured the fries with sauce. I had the honey chicken tenders served with carrots and it was very nicely prepared and then during my second visit I had the salmon served with wild rice sweet potato cakes over spinach. It was delicious and very healthy. Our servers were always friendly, we were promptly seated and I was really surprised to see how nice this gastropub is in the heart of Brier Creek. I loved the Wicked Weed event and it is one of the largest tap takeovers of this kind I have seen in this area. Next time I will get a burger because they looked really tasty as well.

So my first take on the place is really nice. The atmosphere is good. You can sit outside, enjoy things and they have a booth and they also have a bar. Where you can sit at the counter and eat there and see the many different beer.. if you also a type and don't what beerl you want, you can get something that's called a flight. And it's like a big shot glass, we'll a little bit bigger, with 4 different types of beer flavors. They menu is scan with phone for drinks and food. So they open up at 11 o'clock everyday. They only do breakfast like brunch on the weekend, thst is Saturday and Sunday. So in addition to the brunch on Saturday and Sunday, you can get the regular menu too. I had some of the appetizers. The honey barbecue wings are delicious. Their pork pot stickers are really good as well. Then they have like a moroccan meatball appetizer, fried calamari. I finally got to taste the salmon. It was overcooked by maybe 3 minutes. It was still good, it didn't have enough glaze, so I had to ask for some more glaze. I would give the salmon maybe a 7, maybe 6.5 presentation was nice.. I got to taste my co-workers, Mac and cheese. The presentation was nice and it was good, so I give it a 7.5, maybe 8. They had enough cheese in there. So now, as far as the rib, they had, it could have been a little more tinder, my coat work I had, but because of the pub, not bad. So we could say 7.5, it was pretty big. You'll see the pictures as well.

I enjoyed my 1st visit to BCBG and it won't be my last. A friend joined me for dinner and brews this evening. Service started off really slow, as it was a beautifully busy day on their patio. We opted to sit inside which took awhile to prep for. Staff was busy at work but kind. Things started off Rocky trying to find the most up to date list of brews. I had my heart set on a flight so that I could try a little of everything during my visit. I went with a few of my waiter Andrews's recommendations. The Ghostface Messy Jessie IPA was perfect. Hints of guava and really smooth. I really enjoyed the Sycamore Slurricane IPA also. The stone fruit and mandarin was very prominent. Very refreshing. For my meal I went with a classic Reuben sandwich served with rustic potatoes. Very hearty and deliciously made here. The Rye bread was perfection, the corn beef very tender and not overly salty. I fell in love with the potatoes. The other reviews did not mislead me. This meal was good ! The potatoes were crisp to perfection with a soft core. Like I like them. My friend ordered a wheat beer with the famous Moroccan Lamb meatballs. These were flavorful and well done. Excellent. Everything I had paired perfectly for me. Andrew provided great service. I look forward to returning to try a new flight and dine on the patio. Enjoyed the quality for the affordable price points.

We recently came to the area and we were looking for something unique. We loved finding BCBG. As we approached the restaurant, there was some confusion as to the entrance as it is not clearly marked. Although some servers were on the patio, it was as though we were invisible. Not a word, no eye contact, nothing.

Side note: I have over 10 years of restaurant experience, in speed bars and dining. I’ve managed teams of 4 to that of 30. Restaurant work is hard and exhausting. It can be difficult on days, but... smile and fake it.

This place had 3 tables MAX and all on the patio.

We entered the restaurant area to find it completely empty inside. The bartender greeted us and he explained that we could take a seat and “someone” would be over to take our order. As we looked at the digital menu, a server sat at a table near the kitchen and proceeded to give myself and my s/o dirty looks and blank stares. After approximately 5 mins, with no greeting, drink or dinnerware, we approached the bar area for service and drinks.

The bartender was very nice and apologized for the lack of service. We ignored the prior mixup and were happy to give the attentive bartender the money.

We ordered our drinks, went back to the table to view the menu. We decide on food, which we are at a loss. Do we go to the bar or is someone going to care and come over? We go back up to the bar to place our order to which the happy bartender apologizes again that the server was MIA.

The food was fantastic. We loved our food. It was fresh and delicious.

The bartender was great and attentive. Giving him the 20% -up tip was well deserved.

We purchased some unique items to bring home for dinner tomorrow, but not without incident. While looking over the wall of drinks and items, very audibly, not only was a female server making fun of me standing nearly 6 feet from her, but her table as well. I would like to remind her that her mask doesn’t make her invisible. I don’t care, I’m grown, but the manager was nearby and could hear this and did not stop it. Very unprofessional. I could give a vivid description of this young lady, who unbeknownst to her I am old enough to be her mother, but I will keep those details to myself.

All I can say is, girl you are beautiful. Your tattoos are very nice and on a good day, you are probably amazing at your job BUT, making fun of customers is childish, rude and destroys repeat customers.

Other than the fantastic beer, food and MALE bartender, don’t waste your time. There needs to be some re-training, hiring and incentivizing...

The food is good, but the staff ... not so much. We went there once and were put on the wait list, which was a mobile app and would text us when ready. We sat no more that 15-20ft away and waited, and never got a text outside of the first one saying we were on the list. After about half an hour I went back up to ask about our seat, and a rather nasty/rude manager (a woman) said we didn't show up after they sent the message so they canceled it. I pointed out they never sent it, and showed her the texts on my phone showing we had never gotten a notice other than the first one saying we were on the list. Mind you I was confused and not angry at that point, just trying to sort things out and show there was a disconnect somewhere. The manager then suddenly blurted out something like: 'Don't you raise your voice to me!' And the thing was, I hadn't raised my voice at all. I had been speaking completely normally, and just trying to figure out what happened. I told her that, and she started freaking out even more. I told her I wasn't mad, but she was starting to make me mad by accusing me of something I had not done. Basically, she was covering her own butt for her screw-up and trying to publicly make it look like we were in the wrong, when I simply tried to find out what happened to our position on the list, and I had proof that they had not tried to even contact us. When another person at the place looked us up, they noticed we had simply been deleted, not paged. So, what I think happened was the manager screwed up, deleted our party, then when called on it proceeded to throw a drama-fit to make us look like we were the ones in the wrong. That has unfortunately really turned me off to this place, which is a shame as my fiance and her parents like the place and often want to go. I won't go there anymore, not to a place that hires and allows its managers to outright lie and accuse a patron who did nothing more than inquire about why they were never paged after waiting twice as long as the...

I visited here on Mother’s Day thought it would be a great place to get a bite to eat before I went to go see a movie. When I arrived, there was seating inside, but I was asked that I wanna sit outside first, even though it was drizzling, and when I chose to have a seat in the inside, my waitress was very hesitant. This was my first time coming to the establishment so I didn’t know what was good and what was not good so I decided to ask my waitress for some suggestions. She made a few comments but reluctantly. I did feel uncomfortable as I was the only Black woman in the establishment. Now I know people are gonna be like oh you trying to make it a black-and-white thing no I can physically see and sit where I was sitting watch how they interacted with everyone else and how they interacted with me. I ordered my appetizer and my food and received them both at the same time which made me feel like they were just trying to give me my food so that I can eat and get the hell out of there establishment. Now I will say that the food was great. I did not have an issue with the food, the potatoes could’ve been a lot better than they were, but the risotto balls were great and the chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I would just like the owner to know that equality is great to spread as well as Customer Service to make people feel welcomed at your establishment no matter what your nationality your culture or your skin looks like all people should be treated equally. My money spins the same way as anybody else’s dollars and I will not allow behavior like this to intimidate me from going or doing anything, but that was the last time and the first time that my presence will be grace in this establishment as I felt very unwelcome and very unappreciated. I hope the owners and people who work here actually take time to read through these reviews and to see how people feel or how you made someone feel well thanks for Showing me that this establishment is not somewhere that I need to...
