So disappointed and dissatisfied by our meal at Los Tres Magueyes. It started out with very weak margaritas, especially for the price of $15! The spicy margarita was so bland, with very little kick. And then the food. It was soooo bad. Like really bad. I am NOT a picky eater, by any means & I hate wasting. So I salvaged what I could from this meal. But in my life, I’ve never had Mexican as poor as this, I understand Tex mex isn’t authentic, but at least it’s tasty!!! This was flavorless. SIN SABOR Y AMOR. No flavor, I didn’t taste any love! The salsa with chips and the spicy salty were very delicious! The rice and beans were good! But my burrito had what tasted like marinara sauce on top, the chalupa was served like a soggy tostada, the chile relleno wasn’t battered and fried, plus the cheese tasted like white American cheese!!! The taco was comparable to TACO BELL, & the beef was bland. It just was one thing on top of the other. Honestly, I should’ve ordered something much more Simple. My boyfriend ordered chicken enchiladas and agreed the thick gelatinous sauce tasted like something out of a can. The chicken was shredded and over cooked. I felt really sad after my meal. I don’t go out to eat often, so when I do I expect it to be tasty and special. This really missed the mark, and I am regretful of the decision I made to go out. If I had more courage I would’ve asked for a refund. But hopefully my review can deter anyone else from unnecessary disappointment. I would’ve been better off enjoying a food truck and supporting an authentic passion for Mexican food. This place is for gringos and anyone who hasn’t enjoyed real Mexican food made with cultural intention.

If you have a fondness for Mexican cuisine and are in search of a fantastic atmosphere, Los Tres Magueyes is a spot that's sure to tick all your boxes. The ambiance and decor alone are top-notch, transporting you to what feels like a little slice of Mexico right where you are. The attention to detail in creating this atmosphere is impressive, and it sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The service here is equally commendable. Friendliness goes a long way in making a meal enjoyable, and it sounds like they've nailed it. A welcoming and hospitable staff can truly elevate the entire dining experience. I'm not a Mexican cuisine expert, but Los Tres Magueyes has won me over. I just add it to my 10 restaurant list. And who can forget the mention of a nice, cold beer? Pairing a tasty meal with a refreshing drink is the icing on the cake for me. Trust me, a visit to Los Tres Magueyes is more than just a meal – it's a flavorful escape that you'll want to relive again and again. In summary, Los Tres Magueyes has the winning combination of great atmosphere, friendly service, and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine. It's undoubtedly a destination worth considering for anyone seeking a delicious meal and a pleasant dining experience. Cheers to discovering new favorites! 🍻

A waste of money, food was absolutely horrible and had zero flavor. Server was pretty much absent. I had visited here due to the amount of reviews and decided to trust them.. my mistake I had ordered the burrito grande with carne asada with a side of beans. To start off the burrito was pretty much cold. The tortilla tasted like a basic mission tortilla, beans were bland and tasted like they came out of a can. Even canned beans would’ve been better! Plus they also came cold. The carne asada was bland, the rice was the only good part. I tried to give the food a chance and take apart the inside to eat the beans and rice and other stuff included with the burrito. How are you gonna call this a “big 10 inch burrito” when the only big part is the gross tortilla?? I felt sick after eating this food. While reading the 1 star reviews of this place I felt even worse. Not to mention I couldn’t tell our server we didn’t like the food, not once did he come to check on us and ask if everything was okay. He was busy checking in with his other tables. I’m really not the type to write a bad review but this place was probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had.

I was purposely given a rushed and incorrect order by this restaurant because they did not want to tell me that they forgot to put in my order and the kitchen is really backed up. The staff were kind, but lose their ethics when they are busy. Their phone lines were down. I ordered food online. I came to pick it up AFTER the estimated completion time. I waited until the staff seated many people waiting for a table. Then it was my turn! Upon providing my order number i was told the kitchen is backed up and to wait 10 minutes. I went to my car and came back. This time i see many others coming to pick up their online orders. Each time, I thought my order may be coming to me, but that didn't happen. I asked the staff again. They mentioned that the kitchen is severely backed up and they don't actually have a real estimated time for me. BUT - so many new customers are seated to their tables, and I am standing by the kitchen watching the staff bring out so many dishes, pack so many to go orders, with so many people coming in to pick up their 'to go' order. This time, when the staff gave their orders to the customers who were picking up, I decided to ask a few of those customers at what time they had ordered, and what time it said the food was ready. Two of the customers told me they ordered at a time that was LATER than when i ordered, and their pickup time was LATER than mine, and yet they received their food. The staff saw me asking other customers, so they decided to tell me my older is complicated (i only ordered 5 dishes!). Now, suddenly i saw them rush in the kitchen packing a 'togo' bag so quick, they spilled soda on the table. I DIDNT think that was my pick up order, but wow - they came straight to me and handed me the order!! Given this experience i figured something may be off, but not this badly. So I went home - only to find completely disappointment (though not surprised). NO flour tortillas. NO Salads. No Rice and Beans. The extra toppings i requested and paid for - NONE of them in the dishes that they did give me. A whole dish was completely missing, extras i paid for and requested - were not added to any of the dishes. This is simple restaurant stuff that restaurant workers do all the time. I EVEN TIPPED THEM - FOR A TOGO ORDER. So what i do? My family are starving because it took a long time to get the order, and once we got it, it was wrong and pretty blatant that the staff didn't even give it 5% of their attention to try and make it accurate. So i DROVE back there. I went there - and again let them seat new customers who were coming in looking to eat there, and when I finally spoke to them - there was no apology, and no explanation other than "so what do you want to do? You already got some of those dishes so we will remake you what you didn't get" - BUT WAIT NO. The dishes you gave me were not like how i had PAID extra for them to be made so you cant count those! So i said i want a refund. Their response was "okay we will refund you for the items you didn't get - oh and we cant do it today because its an online tool". Really? how do you typically refund a customer? I paid by credit card. It became more and more obvious that they knew what they did. "The Manager is not here" & "We have to notify the online company that took your payment." Well no - you have credit card terminals there. All you had to do was refund what i paid! highly disappointing Friday evening. For the record - They said they will call to refund me after Tuesday. Given that they didn't care, and given that I just read what their 1 star reviews are about (e.g. messing customers about with order pick ups) - I have little hope. I will provide an update if they live up...

I was in town for a week for work. Visited multiple restaurants including Brier Creek Beer Garden, Alpaca Chicken (really good), and Sizzlin Stirfy Asian Bistro (excellent and left review stating so). I sat at the bar. A server was making his own margaritas because the bartender was not around. He did not acknowledge me. Once the bartender showed up he was friendly and made my margarita. I then waited a while to place my food order as the bartender was not around. I contemplated going to the Irish restaurant across the parking lot but stayed because I was craving Mexican food (why I came in the first place). After ordering my food he was gone again for a while. How do you have poor/slow/inattentive service sitting at the bar?! I finally got chips and salsa right before my food arrived. While waiting another guest at the bar of a group of four started complaining he was served flour tortillas when he specifically stated he needed corn as he was allergic. The bartender, preoccupied with cutting and eating his own watermelon behind the bar with his bare hands, fained concern for the moment until the guest angrily left. He then shrugged it off and went back to his watermelon, unconcerned that if the guest was truly celiac he could have killed him, or at least put him in the hospital. I ordered the huevos rancheros. Food was good but eggs were overcooked. My plate had a large noticeable chip which makes you wonder if the chunk of broken porcelain is in your food! I gave a 2 for atmosphere because the bartop was sticky. While I was waiting another guest walked out due to the slow service, which the bartender later complained about. Took forever to get my check because the bartender went missing again. Saw another server have to make their own drinks. While waiting for my check I overheard him complaining to a seemingly regular patron about how much he hated his job. She asked what else he would want to do, perhaps own his own restaurant, to which he replied "F*ck No!" (Thank goodness!) I chose this place over a closer Mexican restaurant to my hotel because of the reviews and price point. After this experience I would've gladly paid more for a better experience. Do...

I had a really bad experience here last night. I asked for steak tacos and some how this got misunderstood to me ordering tacos los tres. We sat at the bar. It seemed the bartender Bart - tall bald gentleman - was waiting tables and restocking the bar. He seemed very busy which is fine but he had a very poor attitude and found it necessary to inform me that “it was just a misunderstanding” in a stern voice.

If he had taken the time to be more hospitable and confirm our orders the mistake/misunderstanding would not have happened. Furthermore, we didn’t get the rice and beans that was supposed to come with our order. I waited over an hour for my food and still left hungry.

I’m visiting from out of town. I returned to my hotel and ordered more food from a different restaurant. I didn’t feel comfortable at los tres magueys so I left hungry instead of ordering more food.

Bart made us feel like we were a problem and he was doing us a favor by waiting on us. At one point my friend literally begged him saying “pretty pretty please” to him because we didn’t want to upset him. Both of us have worked in the restaurant industry and we felt we had to be a extra nice to him just to get some service. Basically, we as customers had to ALL the emotional work. It was such a bad experience.

We weren’t given a menu when we sat at the bar, we weren’t given a drink menu either. We did not get our rice and beans that was supposed to come with our food. We clearly did not like our margaritas and Bart didn’t check in to see if everything was okay. I ended up ordering shots of casa migos and a corona bc Bart took the drink menu away from me before I was done looking at it.

The tacos de carne asada were good, shrimp taco was not the greatest, the avocado in the guacomole was over smashed, don’t get the...
