If you're looking for an unforgettable restaurant with exceptional food and outstanding service, look no further than Flavors of Indian! My husband and I recently visited during a day trip to Raleigh, and this place absolutely blew us away.
We’re serious foodies, always searching for top-rated spots (my husband has a strict “4.7 stars or better” rule). Let me tell you, the 5-star rating here is spot on! Having dined at Indian restaurants within and outside of the US, I can confidently say this is the most authentic and flavorful experience we’ve ever had.
From the moment we walked in, the inviting aroma of freshly ground spices set the stage for a fantastic meal. The restaurant was spotless, and the service was impeccable. Our server went above and beyond to help us navigate the menu, ensuring we chose dishes that suited our tastes perfectly.
Every bite was bursting with vibrant flavors, transporting us straight to the heart of India. This is a place we’ll return to time and time again—it’s that good. If you're in Raleigh, do yourself a favor and check out Flavors of Indian. Your taste buds...
Read moreThe best Indian I’ve ever had. Quite possibly one of the best meals. My friend and I stumbled on to the restaurant while shopping nearby. The chef could not have been nicer and let us sample multiple different curries before selecting 2 for our sampler platter lunch. He walked us through the offerings which made it a great experience. I found food that I never would have tried on my own or if I had to order a whole portion and loved them! Break free of the tikka and butter chicken! We also order samosa chaat as an appetizer and oh my goodness it was incredible! I tried googling to see what it would be because we were starving. I was expecting some fried triangles of potato and pea but instead it was a dish with layers of deliciousness. The top was sweet but as you made into the deeper layers a flavor of depth, savory, and spice appeared. I dream of this meal. Pictures and descriptions would make it easier to order but my recommendation would be to ask your server or order sampler platter. The staff was exceptional, so kind, genuine. I can’t wait for a...
Read moreThe worst restaurant experience so far! We went for Tea and snacks! Ordered onion pakora and Tea (chae latte) and Lassi. A few moments later, the server came and ask “can you order something different, it will take longer time”!! How on earth a restaurant can serve like this!! If you’re running out of resources that’s understandable, but you showed an attitude too that you dont wanna cook for the customers! We replaced the order even. Then we were served Vegetable Samucha, the most basic Indian snack, and the price was out of this world! 4 bite size samucha for $9! Then they served tea in those tiny cups (2.99/cup)! But I still can not believe how an indian chef can make such bad tea! Chef, please do not demean the Indian cuisine in this way! They absolutely forgot to serve the lassi and came with it while we were checking out! Seriously, are you thinking of serving people with food? You first need to learn how to serve any kind of people respectfully! I believe serving food is no less than worshipping, so please next time pay...
