I ordered takeout on 6 - 7 - 17 at the counter. When I ask the cashier how long would it take he replied 10 minutes that should have been a big sign. I ordered the steak shrimp and chicken Hibachi with rice and a salad at $19.95 plus taxes. I also ordered the chicken Hibachi with rice and a salad at 16.85 plus taxes. Well when I got home which is downtown Raleigh so it's not that far. I was all ready to eat so I opened up my to go plate and was very disappointed. I feel that my food wasn't freshly-made as you would expect if you're paying that much for a plate of hibachi. It should to be made fresh as you order it. First of all the shrimp was dried out the chicken was hard and dry and the stake was cut into chunks and was very very tough. I felt that I received leftover lunch food because lunch ends at 2:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 5 p.m. and I was there at around 5:15 p.m. I thought with the price I was paying they should have used a ribeye steak or something higher but I think they were using sirloin and below. Half of the plate was filled with overcooked vegetables. I was so disappointed because I waited all day long to taste the hibachi there. I heard it was good and it was my first time going there. I did not call them back because I know from personal experience how hard it is to get your money back from the Asian Community they do not like to refund you your money back they hardly want to do an exchange. I'm not trying to be racist but that has been my experience with them so I know what to expect and I'm not really up for that fight trying to tell them that something didn't meet my standards. So if you're on your way over there I hope that you have a better experience good luck! .

Read moreA recent lunch visit here was eye opening and not in a good way. Admittedly(you know this if you have read my other reviews) I am super critical when it comes to food. To start I was the only person in the restaurant on a Friday at Noon. I asked is it ok if I changed one of the fish on a roll as I don't like Un cooked Salmon. I was told yes no problem and I selected a less expensive replacement. Five minutes into them making it I'm asked almost in passing is it ok that it is "a few more dollars"? Of course it isn't so just leave the salmon off. Mind you the rest of my order was 20 plus dollars of Sashimi.
So, the order of Tuna, Peppered Tuna, and Surf Clam Sashimi arrive with the Phoenix roll with the Salmon on it. The server was then told It would not be eaten that way and what would she like to do about it? Five minutes goes by translating back and forth and no resolution. So without eating anything I asked to pay for my Tea and leave. Which led to five more minutes of discussion. Easily explaining why this place is so empty.

Read moreThe food was delicious. We ordered chicken gyoza and teriyaki chicken as well as crab rangoon, all of which was extremely tasteful. The gyoza was cooked to a perfect state, the teriyaki chicken was full of flavors that filled your mouth, and the crab rangoon was crunchy and full of cream cheese. For sushi we ordered a red dragon roll and roll of crab and cream cheese. The red dragon was on the bland side but still good and the crab and cream cheese roll was overpowered by the amount of crab in the roll, my girlfriend actually almost threw up due to the overwhelming ammount. The service was not bad but it definitely wasn't the best, there was no sense of hospitality and we kind of actually felt like we were being judged. Like an eye watching over our shoulder while we were eating in the store. In all reality you could get worse when trying a sushi restaurant, the food was great it just needs a little bit more...
