Snoopy's Hot Dogs & More — Restaurant in Raleigh

First time going to Snoopy’s today and I will never be returning again. For a place that has been around since the late 70s, they don’t know how to have proper customer service. I have been out to eat at many places in Raleigh and this was the first time I’ve been disappointed with service. Person taking my order was rude at first, I walk up after the last customer walked away and the lady tells me “hold on” not even “one moment please sir” and then I waiting about 20-30minutes to get a small order for 2 people, I think they even forgot about us and skipped our ticket until someone said something, I kind of overheard commotion about it. Easily 4 people that ordered after us got their food and left. The food wasn’t even to die for, I’ve had way better hotdogs from a food stand outside of Lowe’s. The lobby counters and floor are all sticky as if they don’t even clean when they are done. I’d say save your money and take it elsewhere, because from now on, that’s what I...

Snoopy’s used to be our go to place for a hot dog and fries. We could always count on hot food and good service. It has really gone down hill since covid. The last several times that we’ve been, I’ve noticed that the staff is always different and the food is mediocre at best. I stopped today for lunch, but I didn’t eat because I saw a young female worker eating french fries that had been cooked. There used to be an open view of the whole cooking area, but a wall/barrier to block the area where the fries are cooked was installed. It doesn’t totally block the area because I was able to clearly see the worker picking up french fries with her hand and eating them. It makes me wonder why they tried to cover the cooking area. When my college attending senior son rolls into Raleigh to visit this loving sweet mama, I ask him where he would like to go get a light lunch. Surprisingly enough, he let's me know it is Snoopy's! Alright!y! I drive us there, and he orders three hotdogs with Chili, onions and mustard! I order the chicken salad! OMG! We sat in my car enjoying our lunch laughing about past memories yet also cried at the fact his father, my hubby, was terminal with cancer. He shared with me these were the yummiest hot dogs he's ever eaten. We often would stop by Snoopy's when the boys were little. The chicken salad was the tastiest I've ever have eaten!
