Tacos and Burger shop food truck — Restaurant in Raleigh

I stopped and ordered carne asada with fries. Before ordering, I carefully explained my allergies and specifically asked if there was anything else in the carne asada. I was told no. Unfortunately, when my food came, it contained chorizo or kielbasa — both of which I cannot eat due to allergies and dietary restrictions.

When I politely raised the issue, the response I received was unprofessional. Instead of understanding, I was yelled at and asked “how do you even know you can’t have it?” I was told to throw my food away, and when I asked for it to be remade without the added meat or for a refund, I was met with more hostility. To make things worse, after telling me to throw it out, they suddenly asked for the food back and stated he meant the sausage.

Food allergies are serious, and I was very clear when I ordered. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them matters. In this case, the lack of honesty, care, and respect was extremely disappointing. I have 2 stars, since initially...

After a quick visit to Wake Med. We had a limited time to grab some lunch. We saw that there was a Taco truck within walking distance. So we decided to give it a shot. The walk there from the hospital is a bit sketchy. A lot of characters you want to avoid, this place is also located next to a motel.

But once you get to it. It’s very neat. Plenty of out door seating and a friendly owner and staff. The food took just 5-7 minutes to get and once we got it, we were pleased. Filling and decent taste.

My go to Food truck! And the Carne Asada Plate is amazing! It comes with Carne Asada, piece of sausage, rice, pico de gallo, slice of avocado, and a pack of fresh tortillas!

Always good quality food! Owner and Employees are the friendliest people you could ever meet. I've been going to them for about 2 years or so. I use to go for my lunch breaks but cannot do so anymore because my office moved, I now stop by for dinner sometimes or go pick up food on the weekends, that alone should tell you that the food is worth the drive to try out!
