Teddy's Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Raleigh

Came in here to get a pizza and also needed to relax for a while and I have been sitting in here for over an hour and the pizza was absolutely delicious made completely from scratch and very delicious! Made it perfectly how I liked it !

As I was sitting in here eating, a woman first initially came in to pick up her order she had wings and pizza I believe. She started to raise her voice at the workers about the cost, and she was specifically referring to the taxes …. She knew how much all of her food was but she didn’t want to pay the taxes for it….. the workers tried to explain to her that you have to pay taxes on things like food. I watched this entire encounter and I should have recorded it due to the disrespect this fool had the audacity to say to these hard working men making her food!!! She not only was yelling extremely loud for over 6 minutes, there are children in the restaurant and she’s saying the f word back to back and trying to literally fight the random few customers in here , she got in a woman’s face for NO reason calling her racial slurs at this Hispanic woman again for no reason!!! The Hispanic woman just ignored her and walked away, she wasn’t even involved she never said anything she was in line trying to order food … then the same crazy lady who is still in the restaurant (which isn’t large , open space but small eating area ) so everyone is very close in proximity.

This woman had the audacity to then speak to the workers and I believe the owner, randomly calling them terrorists!!!! Obviously INACCURATE but extremely DISRESPECTFUL!! Then she accused them of having guns with them to kill their customers .. obviously it was again just a random ignorant false accusation . None of the things she said were true. The next thing she said didn’t catch fully but something about muslin religious and going to hell. I didn’t catch it completely ( I was pulling out my phone to call the police ) when I heard something about the Muslim religion /going to hell which again HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TAXES SHE WAS ORIGINALLY COMPLAINING ABOUT ……. Where do you go where you don’t have to pay taxes lady?

I stood up and was about to throw my trash away , I never spoke a word to her but the moment I stood up to throw trash away, she started screaming at me trying to fight me , haha i wasn’t even sure if she was talking to me cause I was standing up to throw my trash away .. she started calling me a lot of curse words I don’t know if I can write them in the is review but very vulgar and again random .. she then tried to “whoop my a**) lol….. I just stood and stared at her and probably chuckled at her nasty hateful attitude. I did get a photo of her license plate she drives a white punch buggie and I gave the photos to the owners in case they wanted to file a police report, which they should .

You do not come into someone’s family owned business that literally are cooking your food from scratch and not only yell but disrespect them and “their momma” she kept talking about everyone’s mom 🙄 literally and then to call these hard working men terrorist and saying they have guns to kill people — again for NO REASON JUST HER BEING RACIST and very random .. NOT OKAY at all.

This idiot (the racist woman cursing screaming loudly) was a black woman, late 40’s early 50’s , she had on a dark long pants , zip long sleeve jacket and a light colored possibly slightly golden hair cover or wrap to cover her hair completely. She had a few diastema’s between her teeth. Wide round bugged out eyes. 5’9 or so in height and 160 give or take in weight. White Volkswagen punch buggy. I got her license plate but won’t display it all over google but did give it to the owner. They didn’t deserve this at all. During the event when I stood up and she threatened me for no reason, I prayed in my head to Jesus that He would get her out of this restaurant and parking lot for everyone’s safety including my own & within seconds she walked out drove off..No coincidence that Jesus loves everyone and answered my prayer...

Review:

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced! I ordered baked ziti with 10 garlic knots and drove 30 minutes home, only to discover they forgot the CHEESE—one of the main ingredients! I called the restaurant, and they said they’d replace the entire order, no problem.

When I get there, I’m suddenly told I should’ve brought the food back to get a full replacement—something they never mentioned when I called! I explained I was already there, but instead of fixing their mistake, the owner proceeds to compare my situation to returning clothes, which makes ZERO sense. He then dismissively says, “Don’t worry about it, our service is bad, we’ll refund your money.”

I’ve never seen such arrogance and lack of care. If you want terrible service and an attitude when they mess up your order, this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid...

Best pizza in the Raleigh/Cary area. The pizza has the best tomato sauce I've had in NC. I'm quite literally addicted to their pizza. I order 1.7 pizzas per week on average from them (I ran the numbers). Don't listen to the one star reviews, they're either all Karens or talking about how they didn't like the "vibes". Every pizza I get is perfection. I fast for an entire day before ordering an 18 inch peperoni so that I can eat the whole thing while watching reruns of Jersey Shore™.

I went through life depressed before I found Teddy's. Now I go through life depressed with a full stomach. This is the only thing I look forward to during the week. I probably wouldn't make it through my PTSD induced episodes without Teddy's Pizza and Pasta.

Thank you Teddy, whoever you are. When I get to heaven I can only hope it's filled...
