Wendy's — Restaurant in Raleigh

Me and my friend went up there today when we walked in there was this one employee mopping and then when me and my friend was trying to figure out what we wanted to eat on the menu the manager that was there on June 19th, 2018 at 3:41pm. Was rushing me and the other girls behind us knowing we were looking what we wanted to eat and she had a rude nasty attitude and was very disrespectful to me and my friend it was barely busy took a long time to get our food. When we finally got our food it was cold and me and my friend had returned our food and wanted hot and fresh. So the employee that was mopping the floor when we walked in she had a little ponytail afro and glasses and she threw our food bags at us like we were irritating her. So when me and my friend left today we were Trynna pull out but it was a black male name Amir behind my car So I had to wait so when I was pulling out he was cussing and saying sexual things and harassing me and my friend when we were leaving. so when we was about to leave we went back in and told the manager what he said while he was out taking the trash the manager that was on duty today didn't let us finish what we were saying and she kept interrupting me and my friend when we were trynna tell her what happened outside then she called her employee Amir and asked him to apologize too us and he was denying and telling her lies that he didn't do nothing. But how can you talk to an employee in front of us and tell him to apologize to us and he talking about he don't know what he did and they both had a smirk and smile on their face.like she was Trynna cover up the situation so he wouldn't be in trouble. This whole Wendy's environment on Perry creek is horrible and disrespectful to everyone. I feel like if you gonna be a manager you should of done your job correctly and handled fairly not let an employee harass other customers and then you smiling with him. Me and my friend was so disgusted with the company and the manager that was there and had to handle it the right way with another manager. then she told the other manager it was none of his business too know and she would deal with it so when she called and spoke to a relative she still had a rude nasty disrespectful attitude and wouldn't let her talk and get whatever that needed to be said and also told her that we didn't tell her what happened when we tried and she just ignored us and interrupted us when we were trying too explain. That manager that was on duty had pissed me and my friend off. Then my relative had to tell her that still you should of dealt with it with a nicely manner and listen to what they were saying till you...

In short: I was greeted with the smell of rotting waste at the drive thru window. And paid $10.00 for inedible food. This is hands down the worst fast food restaurant I have been to in 15 years...

Their intercom system was not working in the fast food line and it took me 40 minutes to make it thru the drive thru. I was pressed for time, traffic was bad and there were limited options for fast food around so I stayed in the line against my better judgement.

Once I finally got to the window, and I rolled my car window down to give my order to the cashier I was hit with hot disgusting rotting waste smell. I peered over my car door to look on the ground to see what the smell was and it's a collection of rotting liquids and trash on the ground right below the window, yes the same one the cashier reaches over to hand you your food and take your money....as if they don't smell it at all.

After the cashier took my order I sat at the window for another 20 minutes to waiting for the order to be fulfilled. When I was finally give the meal she didn't say a thing to me or even make eye contact before she quickly disappeared into the darkness of this cesspool of a restaurant.

I called the number on the receipt to make a complaint to the franchise manager but the line was busy for the rest of the night. Wow, no surprise. I called the corporate office and placed a complaint. The customer service representative was apologetic and said they'd have that manager reach out to me, which 1 week later has not happened yet.

I don't have time to keep following up on this place. Nor do I really care. I am concern for others who eat here, which I don't know how you can because the food is inedible.

When I took one fry out of the bag and started to bring it to my mouth, I was worried the entire time, wondering how clean their kitchen is since at the last minute I saw the sanitation rating was a 90. That paper was tucked out of sight, not on the window.

The fries were cold but tasted like they were cooked in old oil. It has got to be rotting because the fries tasted badly.

I threw everything away without taking another bite.

And as for those other reviews about the fireplace, most updated Wendy's also have those, but they don't include hot trash juice smell wafting around their facilities. So I say this to that manager, "Keep your fireplace. And I will keep myself saminoella free by not coming back...

If I could give this zero stars I definitely would. I only stop here when it's my last option because they are super slow and very rarely get your order correct. Tonight there were only maybe 3 cars ahead of me as I pulled into the drive thru. The car in front of me waited for a very long time before they took their order. They took my order pretty quick but had to wait a considerable amount of time before I got to the window. And had to wait even longer for my food once I did get to the window. Order was simple: a spicy chicken sandwich combo with a strawberry lemonade and a half apple walnut salad. Of course they wait no time to take your money but anyone who has ever worked fast food knows you are supposed to make the drinks immediately and hand these to the customer when they first get to the window. I saw the cashier making what I assumed to be my strawberry lemonade but he never handed it to me only kept taking orders. Finally I get my food and there isn't a fork for my salad or the walnuts...I have to request this when if course this should be in the bag already. Then I'm like my drink? Thinking the drink he made as I was sitting there was mine only to find out my drink was not yet even made! I also was not provided a receipt 🤦🏾‍♀️ Once I have what I believe to be my correct order I come home only to find out that my order is incorrect. My spicy chicken sandwich had some weird sauce, jalapenos and other things on it. Thankfully my Salad was good. I'm always flabbergasted at how terrible this Wendy's is and I cant believe whomever allows it to be this bad and that it is still open. It's going to take some other fast food place in the nearby area to open and take their customers for some improvement. I would like to say I won't come back because it is the absolute worst but alas I will probably be back because it is close to my house for a last minute dinner option. I would not recommend this restaurant. DO NOT GO HERE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. You will most likely regret it (time and/or...
