Read moreFor Cinco De Mayo my family wanted Mexican food. This restaurant is right around the corner from my house. I called and placed an order for 5 people. I was told it would take about 20 min. I went and picked up soda before and arrived about 30 minutes after I had called. I went in and was greeted by a very nice 11 year old cashier. I told her I had called ahead but, my order was not ready. After her returning to the kitchen 3 times to verify my order she told me it would be right out. It was not to be. after a total of about 45 minutes after I called a lady came out with two bags. She then asked what I had ordered, AGAIN! I told her and she said yes that is what she had. When I got home ONE order was correct! I am not sure what one of them was as it appeared to be a round flat piece of meat. It was NOT appealing at all! Nobody wanted to taste it ! Another one appeared to be a salad. Nobody ordered a salad! My daughter returned the unwanted orders. She came home about 25 minutes later with the correct items. Everything was bland, unappetizing, and very small portions of colorless, flavorless beans and rice . Everyone was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! I will not return and would strongly suggest you spend your money elsewhere! A suggestion to the cook/owners, find...
Read moreI wrote this review below in the heat of the moment when I was eating a burrito it was delicious. But the part that I took home I opened heated up and was eating at just now the next day shortly into it I bit into a very solid piece of aluminum it appears that might have came off of a scrubber or something else some sort of filing but it was in my food. I hate to give this place a negative review but the bottom line is you got to keep your kitchen tidy there should be no excuse for debris like that to get into your food if it's being prepared properly and with care. I'm sure I would probably give this place another chance but not sure 100%:-(
This is more like a hole in the wall type place but to be honest the food is fantastic and it doesn't matter about the atmosphere it's really nice to eat good quality food and I love their rocotto hot sauce delicious I loved it I had a carne asada burrito it was very tasty I can't wait to go back...
