Sacramento Sun RV Park — Local services in Rancho Cordova

I bought a tiny home here back in 2020 and although I’ve had some concerns about this park and the location of it, thankfully we don’t really deal with crime, drugs or problematic people. I’ve always had a fantastic experience with the neighbors. We truly are a community of great friendly people who look out for eachother and support eachother in times of need. I am so grateful for my neighbors. Management can be difficult to get ahold of sometimes as they don’t live in the park and aren’t here everyday, but once you do get a hold of them, they are responsive, helpful and efficient and they will follow up to make sure your concerns were addressed. The park is maintained very well (thank you Tony) and is pet friendly. All the dogs and kitties here are great and generally pretty friendly to people and with the other pets (or at the very least, copacetic with eachother.) If you decide to move here, you will find community that feels like extended family and will feel included. 5/5 stars for Anthony the maintenance guy! 3/5 stars for the park itself. Lived in the park a year and a half. For the most part management is good, stays out of your business. Neighbors watch out for each other and each others belongings. You can have dogs and a yard for them which is huge! And you can stay long term which is hard to find. Price is comparable to other parks in Sacramento. Now for the cons, if I had children I would not stay here. There’s a homeless camp across the street. The RV park is not gated so homeless people are always walking through the park and occasionally we catch them trying to get into our vehicles. There’s also been instances where people have tried to come into our trailer in the middle of the night, looking for drugs. It is the worst park ever!!! The owner is a slum landlord! I have lived here for seven years there is an investatation of rats and roaches last year the electrical was messed up but seems to be great now. I know you will never find a cheaper rate on electricity there are lots of people who cause problems and no they dont live here but they still cause problems and Geniva Erickson is a good manager she does all she can with what she has to work with. It is nice an shady though. And the police are in there quite regularly sometimes daily as are the probation department undercover police and hiway patrol and firetrucks.
