$6 per pound! Self serve location. Pay more, get less. Worst Mr. Youâs location by far! AVOID THIS LOCATION GO TO MONTCLAIR OR RIVERSIDE
Itâs a self serve Chinese food spot that costs $6 per pound. You grab a plate and fill it however you like. I thought this was interesting until I realized you actually get way less than if the staff made the plate for you like at other spots.
Because this location uses weight to determine price, you end up getting less food for roughly the same price as when the plate is usually made for you. If you filled the plate the same way yourself, youâd end up paying more. At this location, you donât get the satisfaction of getting a plate that barely closes because they use weight!
The price and difference in amount of food absolutely soured the experience. Flavor wise, it wasnât that good either. Chow mein had no flavor. Fried rice was bland. Bbq pork tasted overly sweet. Orange chicken was bland. Best tasting thing was the veggies in the beef and broccoli. Overall this place isnât it. Do not waste your money here. It honestly a massive disappoint because other Mr. You locations are usually...
Read moreEdit due to new ownership--- This place is now self serve and charged by weight! Issue with that is people can pick through and get what they want out of each tray leaving behind what they don't want (example-the mushroom chicken was all mushroom and no chicken, broccoli beef, etc.) Also the food is sitting there being continuously heated/cooked leaving the food extremely over cooked, the Orange chicken was absolutely HORRIBLE, it was chewy and so hard that the top of my mouth is cut up & sore, also the noodles were completely dried out and flavorless! Also they no longer have fortune cookies đ± not a huge deal but to the kids it was disappointing! đ€·đ»ââïž This was our go to for Chinese food but we 100% will NOT be back!
Past review--- Good food, good portions and...
Read moreEdit: i will leave my old review up since i use to rate this place 5 stars, now it only worth the one, it is now slef serve which wouldnt be bad but the quality just isnt there. The food is dry since it's sitting under lamps all day. You no longer get the rush of customers, so food isn't coming out frequently like it used to. There's no more spicy orange chicken, which is a bummer. Now im going to have to go to riverside if i want to have good Mr. yous again.
