Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita

I’ve always liked Chipotle but for some reason I usually don’t have a good experience with this location as I do other locations. Unfortunately it’s the closest to me so it’s where I usually go but next time I may have to go out of my way to get a better experience. The staff are okay but not as friendly as the ones in Foothill Ranch and other Chipotles. The portions are usually smaller too than others. This time I was extremely disappointed because both the burrito and bowl I looked like they were a kids portion. I commented on it and the cashier just shrugged and said not to worry cuz she’ll just charge me the 3 pointer which it should be anyway bcuz I only got rice, steak and a little bit of cheese since they ran out of corn. So $14.22 for a very small burrito with 3 ingredients and approx 5 spoonfuls of rice and steak and cheese in a bowl! I am a regular customer here and I have never experienced more disrespectful staff. I love chipotle and this is the closest one to my house. Time and time again I continued to go regardless of how poorly they treat me. Unfortunately the treatment is only getting worse and I refuse to give such a disrespectful establishment my money. At one point I loved Chipotle as a restaurant. However recently seems like the over all quality has gone down .. from the staff to food. Seems like this is not the only location but other several locations are just as bad. Looks like management is now training the staff the wrong way. The portions used to be very reasonable now you are fighting just to get a bit more or is "extra charge" The steak was so over cooked it was hard to chew.
