Brisket was sooo tough, chewy and bowl just lacked enough meat. Thai ice tea was grossly sweet. Whereas all other pho restaurants bring out your food at blindly fast speeds, it took 45 mins for me to get my bowl. Everyone was sitting around waiting. It was also awkwardly quiet because theres no ambient music playing. In their defense, it was day 2 of being open and it was obvious they were ironing out the kinks. Definitely understaffed that day.
Egg rolls were very tasty.
Haven’t been back. Will try them out again once they’ve been open for a few month and (hopefully) worked things out.
Update 8/23/21: Went again. Again, bowl really lacked meat. Got the filet this time and the lack of meat was laughable. Broth was ok. Also, still really disorganized. Half the place had dirty tables with bowls and food just sitting there, including the one next to us…and because the doors were open, there were flies everywhere. The table next to us was dirty when we got there and wasn't cleaned until right when we left. Really disappointing. Will be driving further to go eat at a better and...
Read moreTried Pho O-Oh Tasty last night and was happily surprised :-) We both got the small filet mignon pho (p16) with the BBQ Pork Spring Roll Appetizer (A5). Both were delicious! The pho impressed us with lots of depth of flavor. Our waitress, who we think might have been the owner was so cute and helpful despite the obvious language barrier. What a great experience!
One BIG problem however is the communal, non-individually wrapped chop sticks and forks which are left table-side for kids and guests to paw all over, breathe on, etc. No bueno! They really NEED to fix this issue right away!
That said, we love the food, the service was good even though they were packed (the staff which seemed to be all family, rushed around doing their absolute best to keep up!) we will be back...maybe with our own chopsticks...
Read moreI was out in RSM on an errand and came across Pho O-Oh Tasty. From when I walked in Cece was very welcoming. The whole place was actually welcoming. Once my party arrived we ordered the shrimp spring rolls, the pho house special, stir fried beef w/ lemongrass, & yang chow fried rice. Tony, Cece's husband is an Awesome Chef. We thought the food was Amazing. The flavor was on point. Both Cece and Tony are Wonderful people. I am happy they brought their talent to share with RSM. Definitely will be returning for the Pho O-Oh Tasty dishes again. Regardless of the out of county drive. Thank you Cece and Tony. You guys are an Awesome Power couple. I wish you many Blessings...
