There is boba tea here !! And itās SO good . It was much better than those fun and fancy boba shops . I didnāt ask if they offered any flavors and didnāt ask if I could adjust the sweetness or pearls , but Iām pretty sure you can . They made it fresh in front of me. It wasnāt overly sweet and the amount of pearls was perfect . At a fancy boba shop I always ask for half the sweetness and half the pearls , Kirin made it perfect to my liking without me asking . Perfectly refreshing and my children were trying to steal it from me . Lol It was some kind of black tea that was sweetened and milky with pearls . SO good. Perfect to grab while running errands or after church . Thereās no Starbucks in Randleman but this is the next best thing while supporting a small business .
We initially came here because I love oriental food and was looking for a sit down restaurant . We ordered several meals and everyone seemed to enjoy it . I ordered honey chicken , wonton soup , and a plate of their vegetable noodles. The noodles werenāt the typical noodles we were used to from other places but I enjoyed them much, much better . Out of everything my 9 year and and myself kept coming back to the vegetable noodles . My other two children are a very wiggly 7 year old and an 11 year old . My 11 year old got the spiciest sauce on the menu and liked it quite a bit , she didnāt complain it wasnāt spicy .
For children Iād definitely recommend the noodles because of the flavor and texture- easy to chew and mild in flavor . They also have some yummy baked goodies that are easy for little ones to eat and hold , plus boba tea .
Kirin has the cleanest building Iāve seen in a long time and the atmosphere was laid back and friendly . The staff were kind and accommodating to the children , they even asked if we needed to remove the onions for the kids from the rice . ( We came around 1 pm on a Friday I think )
This would be a great place for a mom get together . Itās now one of my safe places to take the kids when thereās no help and thatās a big deal .I almost never take them out to eat alone because itās overwhelming but Kirin puts my anxiety at ease . It is directly across from a playground as well . (You could let them play and then grab some food .)
We will most definitely be back to try more food and of course...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm not sure if it was a bad day or what. Yes, the place clean. But, as I was about to order, a lady stepped in front of me and my husband...the staff ignored me to assist her. Like what!? We were the only people in line. Anyways, the staff walked away as we just stood there looking at each wondering if we should just simply leave. That was so rude. We decided to give it another try. We order, take our seat. Felt like it took forever to get our food. And to be honest it was mediocre at best. I saw the reviews and was expecting this awesome meal. But, it just wasn't. It was bland. The rice was not tasty. The sweet and sour sauce had a kick to it. And not much food on our plates. Disappointed...we won't be returning. It was awkward and quiet and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food surprised us when we walked in the door. The atmosphere is very counter service, which it is and that being said it was the food that surprised us being so tasty. I had the sesame chicken and fried rice+ both very good. We tried the appetizers the spring rolls- very good, the shrimp roll- not so good, streamed dumplings the inside was delicious but the wrapper was doughy. The other surprise was the egg drop soup- my son in law said it was the best( that's a big compliment). The drinks were mango, rose tea and passion fruit and by far the passion fruit drink was the best. We are already planning a...
