Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Rapid City

Our family has always enjoyed going to Marcos on Jackson Blvd in Rapid City, SD. The staff has always been very nice & accommodating. Tonight was a total different story. The lady (a lady who is always at the front…older & shorter lady) was very very rude to me. My wife had used a few coupons online because the system allowed her to do it. When I asked for my pickup order, The lady said, “there’s a lot of coupon stacking going on!” She proceeded to tell me that the new system was supposed to fix that. I told her, “Well, I guess you should fix that then, huh?” I still gave her a tip even though she shouldn’t have got anything for being so rude!! It’s not my fault that the system is not working right & she really needs to keep those comments to herself. This place is a seat yourself type of restaurant. Even though it is correlated with a golf course, the staff was unprofessional and uninviting. We sat ourselves down and our order was not taken until 17 minutes later. When we finally placed our order, the person working on the food line rang the bell several times and calling for an “Ashley” and telling her that the food is ready. I had to go up to the food line and grab it back to our table. As a Nebraskan, customer service and first impression is a very big thing for us, and my boyfriend and I were not thrilled about this establishment. This location consistently delivers well-rounded, hospitable service. The food is always delicious, the delivery drivers are friendly and warm, and the timeliness of delivery is impeccable. This location also partners with Corral Drive Elementary School for a fundraiser that benefits the school so that much needed supplies can be procured. The Marco's brand has consistently delivered for my family, as we have utilized such a pizza chain in Texas, Missouri, and here South Dakota.
