El Roble Salvadoran Restaurant — Restaurant in Reading

Went as a group of 4 to dine in, waiter who took our order seemed like he didn’t want to be there, got our drinks fairly quick but the food took forever to come out. Some people who came in and sat after us were served their food first. Lady finally brought our food out and she seemed irritated as well, gave us our food & left but whenever she served someone else she’d say enjoy your meal. Finally ate our food which was okay and went to pay at the counter. Card machine was not working which was inconvenient not only for us but for the restaurant as well. If the machine is down let people know before they order. We walked one block down to an ATM to get cash out and had to walk back to pay. If we weren’t good people we could’ve just left. They were able to have 30 pupusas ready for me in about 30 minutes or less. We ran about 15 minutes late but they properly wrapped up the food and took care of it and it was just as fresh by the time we picked it up. The pupusas are a bit thicker than what I'm used to so next time we go to reply just going to keep it around 20 to just two dozen. The casino is finely chopped and just the tinge dry. But still tangy and delicious. We live in an area where there's not very many Spanish restaurants especially Salvadorian restaurants. So finding this place in Reading is a treat. There is another location that's pretty good but it tends to be on a busy part of downtown Redding and parking is always really hard to find...

I'm going to be honest, I haven't been to very many Spanish restaurants and this was the first one I visited in Reading. They did a wonderful job. All the food I ordered was fantastic. I really liked that they were not greedy with their products. Their food was very filling. I actually ended up eating half of it and saving the other half for later! I ordered a tamale, two pupusas, which were definitely my favorite, and two steak tacos that followed very closely. I almost don't want to visit any other place because that's just how pleased I was when I came here. It's worth the drive for sure and I can't wait...
