If the owner wants to respond with an explanation, that would be great and I’ll increase my review. This shop doesn’t allow splitting single scoops into 2 different flavors. You can even just put on the menu an up charge for splitting scoop of 50 cents or so. I rarely ever go to an ice cream shop that doesn’t allow splitting scoops, even for an up charge. Would like the owners thinking on this. Not asking you to do it for free, but why not for a small up charge ? I’m sure the reasoning, is well if we don’t allow scoop splitting, more people will buy the double scoop. However, think about all the extra charge for single scoop splitting you are missing out on. Awesome little ice cream shop with a good selection of traditional flavors in a few specialty flavors. Probably the best regular ice cream shop I've been to in Redding. No frills, just straight up ice cream at a reasonable price. The shop itself is kind of out of the way and tucked into the industrial district, but that won't be a deterrent for me and my family to go back to it. Expected way more and have been wanting to try this place but, I ordered through door dash and there's no options to pick flavors or modify order.
