Poppie's Pizza — Restaurant in Redding

1st order:It cost me over 50 bucks(+tip) for pizza and salad ( Just lettuce)to be delivered.( Round Table prices but Dominos kinda pizza blech).Thatsa nasty pizza pie ! I can get the salad at Raleys for cheaper! Then I tried Pizza Factory..Falcon Special ! Wings are awesomeness! Poppies pizza didn't do it for me.But..I gave them another try and then another... . 2nd order: Hamburgers & Fries..40 + bucks this time ..Hamburger was ok.Nothing special. The fries were limp,greasy,and cold😞GROSS! .So live n learn I wont order pizza or fries next time,right?

3rd and last time..48 bucks (+ tip)for 2 Hamburgers (minus the fries . lesson learned?) Chips BBQ wings and an order of Onion Rings. They say an hr for delivery but each time my order came early( a positive)..But wait.

Starving ! We tear into our bags ready to scarf and barf ,as my husband likes to say! 1 order onions rings....check! 1 order of wings( for mom)...check! 2 Hamburgers and chips( no nasty fries)...Nope!! 1 hamburger and 2 bags of chips. They had only put one of the burgers in the bag. My good half insisted on sharing his burger❤.Mom shared a wing or two and I had my onion rings. Soggy limp but large onion rings..Disappointed ! My 1st call in order the lady answering the phone was rather rude and unfriendly.Maybe she had a bad day..shrugs. My 2nd and 3rd order was a friendly "how can I help you"kinda lady .a sense of humor and a smile in her voice.Which is Exactly how I train my employees ! . ( After working all week I feel like a treat..delivery.Guess I'll have to install Grub Hub for better avail.options) Ya lost...

I used to love this place. Delicious food. However, I tried to call in an order right now, Monday 11/3. They had a coupon on their website, valid for Mondays only. A buy one large pizza, get another large free, pickup only. The website said they were open, so I called them. The recording said to please hold, since someone else was getting their order taken. So I waited.

I decided to just drive over there, still on hold. I was on hold for about 15 minutes. Literally right as I pulled into the plaza where they are located, the recording suddenly changed, and the voice said they are closed, and will be open on Tuesday. The website still says they are open. So I drove all this way for literally nothing. Nothing but wasted gas.

So, despite how much I love their pizza, I won't go here ever again. I refuse to go back to a place that seemingly has no issue treating customers this way. I will simply take my business to Pizza Factory, and be treated far better. Goodbye Poppies. You were good...

The pizza has always been ok, but the customer service is terrible. Several months ago, the woman at the counter was so rude I said I would never go back. Well, today I wanted to treat my fellow co-workers to lunch. I thought I would give them a second chance, and called in an order for a x-large pizza for delivery. I called at 11:12am...well before the lunch rush. Well, 12:30pm came around, and still no pizza! When I called, she knew what I was calling about, and said they had a problem with their deliver driver, and that it was on the way. She finally arrived at 12:50pm. I told her "I don't know who's fault it is, but almost two hours to deliver a pizza is unacceptable". She went on to tell me some B.S. about being late coming back from a supply run. Not one apology, no offer for a discount, nothing. Well, that's the last time. The pizza was barely warm, like it was sitting around for a while. I wanted to try them again because they are just up the road from my work, but...
