I live and work in the area so this was a very convenient location for me, and when I first started going here the staff were usually very polite and friendly and for a couple of years this was an ok location with only one or two problems with my orders.
However over the last several months I have had a problem with my order almost every time I visit this location, you ask for well done fries and they are soggy, you ask for only cheese on your burger and you end up with ketchup and pickles etc. missing items, incorrect items, I have even seen them take food back through the window/over the counter after someone has left and brought it back, which many people keep telling me they are not supposed to do at these kind of places because who knows what someone did to the food before they gave it back to them, even if they instantly trash it, it could be a health hazard in the building if someone did something bad to the food while it was in their possession.
I occasionally even get a funny look/comment from the staff when asking for a cup holder for my drink(s) if I have only 1 or 2 they assume I should have the ability to hold my own cups while driving (Not everyone has a cup holder, or an empty one).
The staff has progressively gotten ruder over the years and less interested in making quality food or offering quality service it seems and the staff turn over seems to be often, almost every month I see completely new people when ever I go there, so people must be leaving all the time not wanting to work there or getting fired for not doing a good enough job.
I would love to give this place a 3-4 star rating just for the fact it is local and convenient and the staff used to be so polite and friendly (and a few of them still are) with hardly any mistakes, but based on the quality of the food, the messed up orders, everyone else I see with similar opinions and the fact that even after multiple complaints via the corporate website, no one has so much as offered me a coupon for a free fries and the service and quality of food has not improved at all, this is why I am giving this location a 1 star review and taking my business to another location or perhaps a different company all together.
The McDonalds at 5 Mile Rd and Middlebelt are much better at getting your order correct and the quality of food and service far surpasses that found at...

I pulled up to one of the drive thru speakers and initially waited several minutes for someone to greet me, and was eventually told to “hang on”.
When it was time to order I asked for a breakfast sandwich meal, and the woman said “we don’t have that”. I asked what she meant by “that”, but she wasn’t able to elaborate on what they specifically didn’t have.
I almost left right away, but instead I decided to settle for just a frappuccino. When I asked for a large, the woman again said “we don’t have that”. I replied with “don’t have what?”, and she said they had no milk.
In frustration I asked “can you tell me what you DO have?”, but there was no reply for an absurdly long time. I just left without anything; total waste of my time.
