McDonald's — Restaurant in Redstone Township

My fiancé and I have lived in the area for over 5 years and this was always the best McDonald's. However, over the past few months it has been horrible in every way possible. I'll give some examples..Today we went and ordered the penguins dinner pack. We waited in line to PAY for over 15 minutes and there were only about 3 cars in front of us. They were not busy whatsoever. Upon getting our food, we saw that after waiting in line for a total of 25+ minutes, my fiancé's spicy chicken sandwich was thrown into the bag and didn't even look like a sandwich. (I'll include a photo if possible) Both of our mcchickens were drowning in mayonnaise and our fries were crunchy like potato chips. All of our food was disgusting and we didn't eat the majority of it. We also work for doordash and a few days ago went into this location to pick up an order. We stood inside for around 25 minutes while the staff stared at us and had the food sitting right there. After handing it to us, my fiancé asked for a drink they had forgotten. Instead of getting the drink, the employee decided to joke around and try helping her friend open a pack of cheese. All I needed was a sprite. We had to literally peek our heads around the corner of the counter for her to remember we needed something. They ignored us the entire time. So disappointed and probably won't be eating here much anymore. Every time it gets...

the food was horrible! we ordered big mac's. most of them plain, which the burgers didn't look fully cooked. and mine, "regular" barely had any Mac sauce and lettuce. it was poorly put together, it looked like it was thrown in the box! I had to ask for a box of Mac sauce and lettuce! and by that time, I was just disgusted, and lost my appetite! the store was filthy! food all over the place. I had to clean my own tables off. the sanitizing wipes for customers were dried out. a bunch of kids were working and goofing off. they were pushing each other around while making food, touching brooms, and then going on the makekine! that's why the food was horrible! I was horrified! I just couldn't believe she would stop cleaning RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, and get my lettuce and Mac sauce and hand it to me like nothing! I couldn't eat anything after that! they probly didn't wash their hands all night long! I am all for these young people having jobs, but the manager on duty was young herself, and messing around right with them! so they obviously need guidance there, and an adult to tell them you cannot touch brooms and cleaning supplies, and then go touch the food makekine without washing your hands!!! won't be going back,...

Not one of my first choices for a quick bite to eat, but the food is fairly decent for fast food and the prices are reasonable. I recommend the app as it frequently has good offers and sometimes provides an alternative to standing in line at the registers. My only real issues with this McDonald's are that the drive thru is usually crowded and that the parking is usually pretty tight. I am assuming that this is largely because the dining options in this neighborhood are somewhat limited. If you need to go somewhere immediately afterwards, I recommend allowing a few extra minutes to deal with the parking situation or the drive thru. Update for 2022: Upgrade to 5 stars. The McDonald's app now allows for more convenient options such as ordering ahead and picking up or even having the food delivered to your vehicle. If you do not already have the app, I highly recommend for both convenience and reward points. Update June 2022: Different day, same good service.
