No matter how wonderful your day may be, a visit to Donut King will only make it better. Tino and his incredible team exemplify excellence in every possible way. The food is, without question, delicious, but it’s the warmth and kindness that Tino and his staff bring that make this place truly special. Their graciousness and genuine care for every guest make you feel like a celebrity. Always smiling, offering kind words, and embodying a spirit of gratitude, they create an atmosphere that is rare and remarkable. It’s hard to find the right words to describe their level of service, as I haven’t experienced this type of genuine kindness and professionalism in a long time. Donuts are like pizza: even when they're bad, they're usually good. These donuts aren't bad and they're certainly better than grocery store donuts. However, I expected cinnamon in my cinnamon roll. I expected a burst of maple in my maple bar. I thought the apple fritter was better than average (and my wife and mother-in-law loved it). And the plain old fashioned donut was fine.

Did I love this place? No. Would I recommend it? Only to those close by. Will I return? Unlikely. Why 4 stars? Because even bad donuts are...

Still can't believe how yummy the donuts were. I came here only because it was right next to the Nine Lives cat shop. It was around 7pm and I ordered 1 glazed donut. Paid $1 for it. When I got home I discovered the guy had generously packed it with freebies: 1 free old-fashioned donut and 2 donut holes. The donuts were so fresh and pillowy.
