Reedsburg Country Club — Restaurant in Reedsburg

I can't begin to tell you how many times I recommend the Reedsburg Country Club for a wedding venue! As I tell others about how great our wedding experience was at the Country Club, they often respond that they "wish they would have know about that place for their wedding."

The food is amazing and the venue is set up so well. We rented the entire clubhouse for about 200 guests at our big day and had plenty of space. I totally recommend renting it all as our family/friends loved the outdoor space for yard games, fire pit to relax at, bar area for grabbing a drink and socializing, and so much more. Our wedding photos out on the golf course were absolutely beautiful as well and Luke personally showed us the best spots while making sure we were safe from golf balls 😂!

A special shoutout to Luke, Taren, and Colton for making sure the day was set up and went on without flaws. They were SO accommodating to any requests and even had great ideas to offer for meals/drink options, room set up, decorating, etc. An added bonus was the new hotel across the road that guests were able to walk to at the end of the night to ensure they got home safe. First visit started slowly - no salad bar during the weekdays, although the "special" of the evening was still posted on the board and offered by our waitstaff, it was not "available" as two of our table requested the flat bread special - strike two...next she tried to order the "Tost A Do's" - "oops, sorry - we're out of those too"...strike three...or yeah it's a golf course - "fore". I tried the ribs - they were perfect, fall of the bone, and delicious. Choice of potato - I selected the fries after asking the wait staff if they were "coated" or regular cut fries...she claimed they were regular cut, but you guessed it - they were coated, so they weren't my favorite. After everyone found something that they could actually order and was available, everyone enjoyed their food. Yep, the beer keg ran out too...Seems they need a little more prep and attention to detail but guessing that will come with time. Good news was we enjoyed the views of the golf course from our table, the food was very good and despite some presentation shortcoming our service was also very attentive and good. We'll definitely give it...

So here we are, my wife & I came out to support local business during a St Patty's day pub crawl supporting Bar Buddies. We were NOT part of the crawl & all we hear from both bartenders are how rude the pub crawl people are for bringing in beer. The girl bartender asked her friend, "you wouldn't let a customer bring scissors into your salon would you?".....Can I bring my own golf balls to this course or am I supposed to pay for your overpriced balls? LOL. You support the pub crawl with advertising, the crawl people we watched bought rounds of shots and drinks yet you B & complain. Sad. Very sad. One more reason I am no longer a member. We support you, your community supports you, you SPONSER a pub crawl then complain about people bringing in drinks even though they order food, drinks & shots?!?! Wow, don't support something if you don't like it! You don't like your job? Quit, there are thousands of jobs out there, maybe one of them can make you happy...LOL, I doubt it, have a nice rest...
