Turk's Sports Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Reidsville

We really do not have another place to "pit against" Turk's as far as a sports bar so this review is based on my experiences at out-of-town bars. 1. Majority of the waitresses are polite & go above and beyond to make sure you're able to have a pleasant experience. I have noticed a couple of waitresses that could step up and do their jobs rather than ordering others around. If you have to stand in one spot and tell others to do things you're capable of handling, you're in the wrong job! There are times I will call in to make sure certain waitresses AND COOKS are working so I can have an enjoyable experience as well as enjoy my food. 2. When certain cooks are in the kitchen, the food is AMAZING!! They really know what they are doing. On the other hand, the other cook(s) need lessons on how to read ticket orders for starters - it isn't that hard to see medium-rare burger and you send out a well-done......NOOOO! 3. Waitressing is not the easiest job to work but you shouldn't have to deal with grumpy old men talking down to you & belittling you! An experience made great by amazing service. We went Sunday night around 6ish. I wish I wasn't so absent-minded but I don't remember our servers names. One was a brunette and one a blonde w glasses. The list of foods that I can't eat boggles the mind. But our blonde waitress made sure nothing touched my plate except for what I requested. I thank her for her patience. Both ladies stopped by often to refill drinks and check on us.

The menu was great and everything looked and tasted delicious. Thank you kitchen team!

Nice to find a REAL neighborhood sports bar! Smiles at the tables all around us. Hubs was happy to catch a little bit of a game. Our servers got us seated where he could see the game he wanted.

I return to Reidsville for a class reunion and we decided after the game to come here. Well, to say the least..I've never been treated or seen anything like I witness. The waiting staff wouldn't even acknowledge that we were there and everyone turned around and stared at us. The waitstaff walked through us as we were waiting at the door for a place to sit. I will never come back to this place as long as I have breathe in my body. I will also suggest to anyone else not to spend a penny in this place. We left there in disbelief. We went to Jack's and had a great time. With waiting staff that acknowledge us and people around us that were very friendly.
