This was my first time dining here. My brother and I went for dinner. The parking lot is located behind the restaurant and that’s also where the entrance is. There is a lot of parking. Walking in, you’re greeted by 2 mannequins dressed in Georgian apparel. You walk down the hall to the main restaurant, there’s a lot of seating, as well as a bar area. Upon walking in, we didn’t see anyone at all but heard some cooking going on in the kitchen. There was a couple who walked in a few moments before us and they were also waiting. It was only the 4 of us there. After several minutes of no one appearing, the guy from the other couple went and knocked on the glass window to the kitchen door. Finally someone came out and greeted all of us. The lady sat us and gave us menus. They have a button on the table you can push when you’re ready or need something. We ordered the chicken shish kebabs and chakapuli (a lamb dish simmered in wine and seasonings with tarragon). Upon learning that the dishes didn’t come with any sides (after we ordered), we also ordered some bread. The lamb dish came out first and almost 10 minutes later, the shish kebabs arrived. It would have been nice to have all our food come out at once. I also tried the Georgian lemonade in the pear flavor, which I liked. The initial lady gave us our menu and then a guy brought our food out. They didn’t seem very friendly and didn’t talk much to us but maybe that’s the culture or a language barrier, I’m not sure. The food was seasoned very well and because everything didn’t come out together, it leads me up believe most of the food is made to order, which I don’t mind waiting for because everything was very hot and flavorful. I have to admit that the lamb dish didn’t look appealing at first and looked more like a soup but it was great! I would dine here again. And towards the end of our meal, we noticed more diners coming in, which was also a good sign. The menus could use some updating and maybe other offerings, like more side dishes because I noticed a lot of meals came with potatoes and others didn’t have any side dish at all so it would be nice to have some other options or include something like...

This was our first time coming here, we drove 35 mins because I was craving Imeruli, which I first had in a restaurant in D.C. When we got there we came in from the back and it was empty, we got to the front and didn’t see anyone but then this lady appeared and told us we could sit anywhere since the place was empty. When we sat down she handed us menus and walked away. We were sitting there waiting for her to come back so we could order but once 10 minutes passed without her even bringing us water we were wondering how long before she came to check on us. We weren’t extremely hungry but I was thirsty, we decided to wait and see how long it would take and after 30 minutes I decided to get someone’s attention since I couldn’t take the thirst anymore. Another couple walked in and sat at the bar so now there were 4 of us in the whole restaurant, I noticed another table had a button to call whomever was in the back towards that table so I pressed it, 6 minutes later the lady comes back and mumbles something about the button but then asks us if we are ready to order and we do. We got the imeruli and two cokes. The food was brought out quicker than our service. It was really good. After we were full I got up to get someone’s attention to pay and we did since I didn’t know how long until the lady came back. I am not sure if this restaurant you have to get up from your seat and find someone to order or if they are supposed to come to you but the lady didn’t instruct us on how to do anything-she just gave us our menus and left us there. I don’t know if I’ll make the effort to drive all the way here to get the food even if it was good since the service was disappointing. I was very much looking forward to...

I almost never give bad reviews, but this may be the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. Where do I even begin? We were sat at a table dripping water from the ceiling. Like a consistent drip and when we asked to move the waitress said she wouldn't have sat us there if we weren't 30min late for our reservation. Lol. I've never received an excuse that had something to do with a punishment for my mistake. I do hate being late, but on the flip side the restaurant was half empty. We brought a bottle of wine because we thought they were BYOB. We were rudely told that they have a liquor license now, so we can't drink the wine we brought. That's fine, but the waitress turned around and walked away after delivering that line. No wine or beer or list either and she disappeared, so I had to walk up to the drink area myself after a while and order them from the guy behind the bar. The food finally came out and there were items we didn't order. I told her that we didn't order some of the items. She proceeded to tell me that we did order them and walked away. That was the last straw for my mother who went and complained to someone who may have been a manager. He proceeded to come over and ask if we could replace the items with something else even though the waitress swore she had explained everything to us and that we did order them. I just wanted them taken away. Never heard from the waitress again until we got up and found someone to bring us a check. The check came with items we didn't order still on the bill and a added 20% gratuity. Worst restaurant service experience ever. Food was ok by the way. Not great, not bad. Just ok....

We learned about Little Georgia from a Georgian Uber driver in DC who dissed the Georgian restaurants there, saying this is the only authentic place in the area. He was correct and then some! One member of our party spent a year in Tbilisi and was excited to share some of the experience with us. I read the reviews here and expected, through language or cultural issues to be treated cooly. Perhaps when one understands the concept of the supra vs a standard American meal out, the experience of Little Georgia will make sense and be embraced. We entered the room on a Sunday evening to long tables loaded with food and men drinking heartily. We were greeted as neighbors. Our selections for a party of three were the best Adjaruli we've ever tasted (sorry Compass Rose, XO), the pork and beef Khinkali (outstanding!), the Shkmaruli (chicken pieces in a delectable white sauce), Lamb Sish kabab w mashed potatoes (fantastic), tomato and cucumber Georgian salad (very good), + some wine and mineral water. Without exception all the food was very hot and delicious and authentic, according to the person with experience in Georgia and US Georgian restaurants. If I had to pick on anything, it would be the Borjomi mineral water, containing more than 500mg of sodium per serving, but it is authentic! Thank you to Little Georgia for making the 1 1/2 hour drive more than worth it, we look forward to returning!

I really don’t even know where to begin. Literally everything we ate was amazing! We started with sparkling water and Georgian beer and Phkhlovana. Holy…..my goodness it was delicious! We then shared chicken shish kebabs and and Adjapsandli. I shall say it again….HOLY! Every bite was perfect! I saw another table with a dessert that looked incredible and despite being stuffed, I asked for what they had. Walnuts covered in grape juice, which was allowed to dry and become the coating. Again…..amazing! And not because we weren’t stuffed we decided to keep going and also had Turkish coffee. One of the best meals we’ve had out in a long time. Everyone there was so amazing! Small pointer: when you’re ready to order, you hit the little call button on the table. It almost felt wrong at first but they give you your space until you say you’re ready to order. It was perfect! So don’t be shy and just hit the button anytime you need someone. We took leftovers home and the kids ate them quickly. Definitely stop by and try them out! You will not be disappointed!!!
