Short Answer: They got my business with false advertising.
Long Answer: My wife and I went here for the first time. We specifically went here for the cherry dip. Turns out they didn't have it. Nor strawberry. Basically they stated they offer flavored dips but it's not there (or at least not on my day). I understand businesses can run out sometimes but it was also on their menu at the front. At least cover those options with tape or something so customers know it's not available. Employee had to ask our order 3 times because they don't write it down. She also didn't know the dip was out when I placed my order. We think she messed up the sizes. Also the first ice cream stand I've seen that gives ice cream before payment. Really awkward trying to pay with an ice cream cone in my hand (hindsight, should have had my wife hold it). Honestly it is probably an awesome place, but getting my money through false advertising really grinds my gears. I'll go to a more local ice cream place (15 minutes closer) for the future. Or I guess I will call ahead next time to see if the dip...

She cocked her head to the side with attitude which was not appreciated. I ordered my son and I vanilla frozen yogurt in a cup and my daughter got a gelati. My son and I got our frozen yogurts in a literal cup, but the customer in front of us got theirs in a sundae dish with the exact same frozen yogurt. I thought this was odd. When she completed all 3 orders, my son's frozen yogurt came back as swirled with chocolate, and I had to correct her to say both frozen yogurts were vanilla and only mine had sprinkles. I thanked her for the service as we left, and she actually replied back with "Your welcome". Upon leaving and tasting this frozen yogurt, it was yellow in color and sour tasting. My son said it tasted like "medicine" as we were driving home. We went to Rita's and threw the frozen yogurts in the trash. The only time I will enjoy treats from The Cow is when they have the truck visit Franklin Middle School for the...
Read moreThe Italian ice and custard are good, better than Rita's for certain. The lines can be long sometimes and slow to progress. Better organization would fix this sort of annoyance. The cow finally now takes credit/debit cards but they make a point to pass on the processing cost to their customers. That's ok I guess considering they aren't open year round. My biggest gripe is how grimy and gross the place is. It doesn't look any cleaner inside, either. Without fail there is always trash littering the place, and there is at least one spilled Italian ice/custard on the ground conveniently for you to walk through. Not to mention there is always trash bags piled up by the back door right next to the area people eat. They are too lazy to take the trash to the dumpster. At least put the bags in a can out back if you will put them into the dumpster later. People shouldn't have to eat near it. Other than cleanliness everything else is ok. The staff are always...
