I have never been to a Mongolian bbq place. When we got there the hostess took us to our table and we ordered some drinks and she said, "it's a buffet okay" and walked away. So we got up to go get our food and it was a little confusing at first, the left side of the buffet was 3 different raw meats and a bunch of different vegetables and a selection of sauces that you put into a bowl and have them cook for you behind the counter. On the right side they had meats and seafood and vegetables, dumplings and even sushi all prepared and ready to eat. It was actually absolutely delicious, the food was fresh and had amazing flavor. Even the sushi. So my kids didnt know that what they were grabbing was raw noodles and then they put cooked food on top of that and basically wasted an entire bowl of food because they didnt want to eat raw noodles. So other than no communication from the staff, once we figured it out the food was seriously good. They even had a little dessert section with ice creams and cookies and fruits. It was really affordable too! I got a whole carafe of...
Read moreThis place is not the greatest. when you arrive you are greeted by friendly front end staff whom are knowledgeable about the menu and items. However I had arrived late in the day and the dining room is very dark illuminated by three cieling fans. there is inadequate ligting at many of the tables around the perimeter of the room and at the foyer. When picking out my food I was underwhelmed and dissappointed at the selection and quality of food. Items where held for too long in steam rack, dried out, uncovered, and inconsistent temperatures. They do have icecream here but there is a possibility of hair and debris contaminating the wells that are sans sneeze guard with people leaning over them. a diamond in the rough is an overstatment with many of the facets needing to be cut and perfected before I will return here. If you are looking for a quick bite here I would recommend other closeby options. I may return in the future to see if this place...
Read moreDelicious and worth every penny. Mongolian grill including ALL the sauces you'd expect from a traditional American Mongolian grill (about like 9-12 different sauces!!) and a unique way to track and serve your self prepared bowl, fresh fruit and veg, sushi rolls, soup, sticky buns, and a small but delicious section of hot entrees. REAL ice cream (5 flavors!) AND sorbert. A variety of after dinner treats as well. $13 lunch, $16 dinner. Can't beat it. Oh and btw, the chicken wings, superb. They are cwispy as well as soft and juicy and are seasoned lightly with what tastes like 5 spice. The condements weren't my favorite in quality but I was delighted to have them as options since most buffets don't offer so many or any at all for that matter. We saw : wasabi, chili oil, sombal, hot mustard, sweet and sour, house. They offer soft drinks, tea brew and wine. I rarely give out 5 * so I wish I could give at least another 1/2. DO NOT sleep on...
