Ferrari Farms — Attraction in Reno

I very much enjoyed our family outing here. It's free to walk around and pet the animals. They have cows, goats, sheep, chickens, big horned goats, a llama, and a couple of dogs. You have to pay to go on the hay ride, go through the corn maze (for bigger kids and families who enjoy a little challenge and nature and a corn walk (for little kids, so they don't get lost). They have a pumpkin patch where you can pick a pumpkin to take home with you. For people not used to picking Pumpkins from the vine, be prepared, the vines and stems have lots of little prickles on them. So best to bring gloves to avoid a frustrating experience. They have a creepy corn maze with lots of clowns at the entrance. I'm not sure if that runs only during the night. Do NOT buy pumpkins from here. My family and I went to Ferrari Farms on Monday, picked out 3 pumpkins (2 small and 1 big) and spent $22 on all 3. We carved them on Tuesday night and by today (Saturday) they were completely rotten and covered in mold. I’ve never seen pumpkins rot so quickly and the fact they didn’t even last a week, or make it to Halloween, is ridiculous. I feel like we wasted our money and risked our health because of these pumpkins. When I went to throw them in the trash the big one completely disintegrated and left liquid all over my table and floor. I have 2 small children and another on the way and I am very concerned about all our health from the mold we have been exposed to. I am beyond upset about our experience here and we will...

Pros: Pumpkin patch Corn maze / corn walk 3.Zombie paintball 4.Hay ride Beautiful old barn on site. Always feels like fall with that nice " farm autumn feeling" Kids have a great time, with rides and bounce house. Small choice for food and drink options,but it's there.

Cons: Parking Bassically no staff or anyone seemingly running the place. Way too expensive for what you get. Animals situation could be a lot better, I'm no farmer but it seems like the animals are not super well taken care of, or that there housing could be updated.
