Subway — Restaurant in Renton

I come here daily and support the business and the workers nicely, but I dislike coming on Sundays because of the guy that works there who has this cocky and rude attitude. I asked for some extra lettuce and he gives me 2 strands of lettuce… and I ask for it again and gives me another 2 strands of lettuce. So, I asked for some extra lettuce again because what is this skimpy portion control this guy is trying to do. And he gives me this attitude saying it’s gonna cost 70 cents for extra lettuce. Mind you I don’t get any other veggies besides lettuce and some onions. I go on tell him I don’t like what he’s doing and he’s being skimpy because I’m over the disrespect and he goes on to say the business is going to lose money by giving me extra lettuce. Bro I’ll tell you right now the business is not going to lose money by giving customers lettuce lol get a grip man. It’s not like I asked for extras of all the veggies. If I asked for extra on everything then sure maybe it’ll make sense for the business to lose very little bit of money, but man it’s just some damn lettuce lmao. It’s okay to be skimpy and portion control, but it’s not okay to be rude about it. In addition, this guy needs to work on better customer service if he is to be skimpy because I rather not get 4 strands of lettuce. I rather have him say, “sorry I cannot give extra lettuce per company policy, I will have to charge 70 cents.” I’d gladly pay it, but not after this guy gives me 4 strands and gives me attitude and rubs me off the wrong way. I tell him he needs to act like the gentleman and lady who works during the weekdays because they’re the perfect example of good customer service and taking care of customers and regulars properly. The guy goes don’t come here on Sundays then. Beyond ridiculous and a shame that a person with attitude like that...

I try to avoid this subway as much as possible. I've had a few incidences where the staff was not very nice to me. One time I had asked why my bill was over a certain amount and the man told me to not complain about the price of my food and that "its the price because thats what it costs to buy it so don't complain." All I wanted was for him to go down the itemized list with me and make sure it was correct.. I ended up being charged for two extra sandwhiches that I never asked to make... Not fantastic. Subway must have changed since I last ate at one. Asked for hot meat and toasted for my sweet onion chicken teriyaki. They put the meat on the bread and toasted it longer therfore burning the bread. Instead of heating then toasting separate like it used to be. The meat was a miniscule portion for a 6inch sub. The lettuce and spinach definitely not fresh, browning and wilted... The chips and soda are good. I did come in hangry which definitely did not help things. Should have said something while there, but I really SHOULDN'T have to ask for fresh and hot for a hot...
