We wandered in around noon, 2 hours before opening. Big Daddy (owner Eric?) invited us in, made burgers for us, chatted with us, informing us of the history of this lovely bar, thus the 5⭐ service rating. The bar was clean, quiet and friendly. We enjoyed the burgers and curds. Nice offerings of alternative/original variations on the veritable burger (and egg rolls). Beer tap selection was limited but adequate. The burgers were done to perfection, but to be honest we're nothing special. The prices were ok, but more expensive than the burger-standard-bearer in town "Bucket Heads". I'm a bit torn stating this as Big Daddy was sooo accommodating. We will return for another beer and burger some day as we try to support local small businesses. I give credit to Big Daddy for his efforts to keep his dream alive in these challenging times with owning a small business. Thank you Eric, keep up the good work, Rhinelander deserves you.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, before the Packer game, to have a drink and a burger. We wouldn't call the a dive bar but definitely an "old school" place. We found out that the kitchen had closed shortly before we arrived, BUT there would be food for the football game. Since it was quite a while before game time, we would have a drink and go somewhere else for food. As we sat at the bar, we were encouraged to enjoy some of the complimentary food. It was almost like they would be offended if we didn't. After we participated in the food offerings, we enjoyed the beginning of the game. Aaron (Big Daddy) and Jamie know what treating customers is all about. We had never been here before, but the way they AND the other customers in the place treated us, we felt like regulars. If you're ever in the area, we highly recommend you stop in for a drink, some food, and some great conversation.

I had the steakhouse and it was amazing. It was a 1/2lb burger with bacon, onions, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, blue cheese steak topping, and his secret sauce. The first bite was full of so much flavor and the pretzel bun was also toasted. It was a delicious meal! Alos the fries were thin cut and they too were delicious. If you are passing through this town do yourself a favor and stop by. The bartender was delightful and friendly. You could tell the cook takes pride in his kitchen. Great stop.

We came to this place late in the evening. From the street we didn't expect much judging from the dimly lit and sparsely seated interior. Once we got inside it didn't take long to find a nice level of comfort in the well decorated bar and dining area (Star Wars fans are gonna love it!). The bartender turned out to be the owner- Big Daddy himself! He does it all including the cleaning and the cooking. A friendly enough guy with just the right amount of chat. Our food was excellent- my burger was fantastic. May I suggest you try the Reuben Eggroll... D-lish! Highly...
