Nacho's Mexican Grill Rhinelander — Restaurant in Rhinelander

I really hate to be that guy... But we went there for chimichangas, and I really had the impression that they'd be the crispy, fried deliciousness that I've always known. Apparently I was mistaken- because the only crisp on those tortillas came from sitting under the salamander. Real let-down as to the finish of the food.

Let it be known that portion sizes are very generous, and the wait staffs service is always impeccable. Atmosphere is cozy.

I just think if you visit toward the end of the nights service, the food might not be as good.

We stopped in for lunch and, after a long wait,we left. We hadn't seen an employee since being seated. We had even each decided what we were going to order. But still no one came to wait on us. No chips and salsa,no drink order,... nothing. We didn't even pass by a member of the staff on our way out the door. I only noticed four other customers in the restaurant, so they certainly weren't swamped. We went home and made ourselves some sandwiches. Definitely have no urgency to return and will probably turn to Casa Mexicana and Taco Bell for my cravings for Mexican food first, or convince myself to crave something else. We visited Nacho's Rhinelander today for lunch. Saw a sign outside for a new offering called a Quesabirria. This meal was fantastic. We visit Nacho's in Rhinelander almost everytime visit from Tomahawk. Food is always excellent, with portions designed to satify that hunger. Staff is friendly and attentive on the multiple visits we've made since opening. Looking for forward to visiting Nacho's new location in Minocqua.
