This pizza place has always been a very popular legend in Rhinelander. So after 2 years I decided since I was visiting to stop in and get one of the famous pizzas. The unfortunate thing is there's new ownership and when I got the pizza home that evening it was completely overcooked and basically unedible. I don't complain but I was so disappointed because whoever took it out of the pizza oven it was quite obvious it was overcooked they should have just started over but somebody made a bad decision in the kitchen. The next day I called the owner she had remembered me from the previous night and she was very apologetic which was good. But she offered first just to give me another pizza at half price I guess I was surprised because the whole pizza was ruined I don't know if she understood that. So I said you know I'm not here to complain but then she made a comment saying. " well you are complaining though". And that surprised me . I guess I was confused because the pizza was burned I thought s remedy would be obvious...a free pizza to replace the burnt one🤦 P so I'm the one who had to mention that and I guess she was surprised but she did say that was okay so within an hour I was able to come and get another Pizza that day since it was my last day. But here's the other unfortunate thing when I arrived there were two young girls who were working. They were waiting on a lady who had ordered a vegetarian pizza and unfortunately they had gotten the order wrong.i overhead the conversation and offered to pick off the veg that didn't belong... Which didn't seem like a good solution The customer stated this happened last week She wasn't happy On the way out after I got my replacement pizza I talked to get and she started she could always g go somewhere else.... It wasn't worth it to her anymore And my replacement pizza.....
Read moreWe will never go back and are telling all of or terrible experience! We stopped to eat in -- not busy inside and now we know why. The waitress never mentioned it would be a very long wait due to phone orders! After 45 min I went up and told her I'll pay for our warm pitcher of soda but I want to cancel my pizza and leave. We had 2 kids with us and we just wanted to leave at this point but she said she'd check on our order -- she serviced the only other table in there that was still waiting too (they were there when we arrived) then she flew past my table saying "about 10 min" WELL 20 min later I told her I'll pay for pop and cancel order!! She said it's in and I'd have to pay for it!! Then 10 min later she asks if we want it to go! I said "no I just want it!!" She finally came out 10+ min later again and threw it on the table - never offered fresh water or ice for soda through our whole stay. She became a rather nasty waitress. And for all this 2 hour ordeal we had to pay a huge bill!! No apologies of any kind for this treatment ever during the wait. Obviously the first time I asked her to cancel our pizza was never in the oven yet! So just made us suffer for another 45 min!! All the while we sat there people flowed in for pick-up and they got theirs right away! So obviously they don't care for anyone but take out customers. We've been there in past but will never go again. The pizza isn't that good that you should be forced to wait 1 1/2 just to get it to table!! Should have just left money for soda on table and walked out! The place is abusive to dining room customers! Warn your friends...

I see your response and for you to reply in this manner is despicable. When I walked back into the restaurant that evening and said there was no sausage on my sausage, pepperoni, and extra cheese pizza the woman at the register at first told me that the sausage was under the cheese. Obviously it was not. I showed her the ticket on which was written only pepperoni and extra cheese. She then admitted her mistake. She offered to make another pie, but I could not wait another 45 minutes. I left the pizza on the counter and started walking away, she asked about refunding the money, I said forget it and left. Your shop's inaccuracy ruined my meal that Saturday night. Your dishonesty (read creative storytelling), however, makes my day now that I have returned from vacation.
