We live nearby and are regulars at Billy’s. It’s a classic back roads bar with exceptional pub grub. There’s always a friendly local feel to it. We’ve had the pleasure of having one of the cooks, Shari, help us when we sit out in the restaurant/booth area. She is friendly, relatable and it’s clear she takes pride in what she does. Last night we got the Raphael and Hunting Shack wings, and a simple burger and FF for the kiddo. Everything came quick and hot. Read moreFull disclosure- my brother-in-law works here as a part-time weekend bartender. I was back in my hometown over the holiday and my sister brought me here to try their patty melt. I was on a quest to find a good one during my visit from Korea 🇰🇷. I have to say, it was the best patty melt I had during my visit. There could have been more beef... (maybe a 1/2 lb. burger) but the rye bread was buttered and grilled to perfection. The side of tater-tots was a clincher for me.
