First time coming to this restaurant I was blown away by everything. Food was, incredible, great ideas. Not your average bakery in the best way. Everything was from scratch and locally sourced. The coffee was also local and the Baraistas were so kind and helpful. Jason knew the answer to every question we had. And if he didn't he looked into it. Multiple times while eating our amazing sandwiches we got for lunch on top of baked delights and coffee, customers would come in and Jason would remember coffee orders, first name like each customer was just as important. We kept coming back for that and many other reasons. One of them being homemade I call them Fancy Hot Pockets, and their Take on a stuffed toasted pastry. (They shall not be named.) Theirs is called Post Tarts. After Liz's last name. Liz is also so kind and welcoming, you could tell the kitchen was her baby. Each dish nurtured and planned to perfection. So plainly clear to see how clean and organized everything was. There are so many reasons to come back here:
*the fireplace in winter time, on a cold day or even for the atmosphere. *the local art on the walls that really lend to the creative mind. *the patio out front where dogs have bowls of water while you both eat your lunch. *warm fresh baked handpies, scones, muffins, cookies, and galletes. And many other delights. *salads with house made dressing, fresh yogurts with fruit and housemade granola, self sized quiches, house made pasta and potato salads that are always changing. *A constant rotation of fresh sandwiches on homemade foccacia bread that same day. *Chocolate flour less cake that will have you asking why they ever put flour in a cake. *Homemade soups warm and ready when you get there. I could go on and on. Definitely worth the short...
Read moreThis charming new cafe and bakery is such a pleasant addition to the area. I come to Ocelot at least once a week on lunch break and every time I'm thoroughly impressed! From the moment I walk in, the aroma of fresh-baked breads and pastries fill the air, and I know I'm in for a treat.
The menu is filled with options for everyone (including vegetarians like myself), ranging from savory soups and sandwiches to sweet treats. My regular coffee order is a hot mocha with oat milk, and it is one the best I've ever had!
The renovated atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. The staff and owners are friendly and attentive, and it's clear they took pride in their work and were passionate about their craft.
Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe/bakery to anyone looking for a satisfying lunch or snack. Whether you're in the mood for a quick pastry and coffee or a leisurely brunch with friends or coworkers, this place has something...
Read moreThe food is great, the service is great! They have a small selection of food, but what is there is good. I have been there twice and have eaten the three things that they sell: a salad, Greek yogurt, and a BLT sandwich. The first time there, I got a salad with goat cheese, craisins, and candied walnuts. It was SO good! I bought the Greek yogurt parfait for my breakfast the next day. There's granola to put in it. They said the granola was freshly made. The yogurt was also very good! I could tell the granola was homemade. The BLT sandwich was nothing great. It tasted like a BLT sandwich.
They also have a good variety of desserts. I just had their chocolate chip cookie. Even though it was only one thing, it was very good!
Overall, I would recommend The Ocelot. The food is good and the employees...
