Went there for the first time yesterday afternoon. Place was not busy at all. Went straight to the bar and sat there at least four minutes before either of the staff paid any attention to me. They were too busy visiting with the usual patrons. Finally the waitress took my drink order. The beer came out warm. I mentioned it to her and she just replied, “yeah I just put them on ice”. Like that was supposed to make it ok that she served me a warm beer. Ordered a steak dinner. The quality of the meat was great. Large cut of New York strip and very tender. But the cook ruined it by putting so much salt on it that I struggled to eat it. Quit half way thru the meal and decided I’d had enough. The waitress handed me the check when I noticed that she actually charged me for the warm beer that I only drank half of. But to say something positive about the whole experience, she was wearing tight jeans that had thirty sequins arranged in some inordinate pattern on the back pockets. I know, I counted them every time she walked past me and ignoring me at the same time. My recommendation; eat before you go there and if you want to drink a cold beer while you’re there... better bring it from home. Won’t go back, much better bar just a five minute walk down the road,...

Horrible service, great food. Friends of the staff (wearing pajama pants, nice) seated immediately, while we waited an hour. Take a look around, 5 empty seats at the bar, why are we waiting? Always something ruins the experience. Tired of feeling like it's just about getting the customers in and out so they can make more money. Can't get my drink refilled, try to respectfully wave down a server, get an eye roll or worse. Since there is no designated server for your table, getting ignored is typical.

We've tried for 5 years, used to really love this place; food is really good and fairly priced, just can't take this repeatedly horrible service.

Then, there are all the times we arrived to find they are closed for a private event or, taking a week off for vacation but don't bother to post the closing in the restaurant (explanation by manager "people get confused and we don't want to lose business because they think we might be closed)." Money first, customers second.

Used to be much better, but with popularity due to the food, service no longer exists. Want to know what the hours are, want to know if there is a wait for a table, they don't answer the...

Unfortunately my husband went in there last night to meet up some of his friends ( we are in from Texas visiting daughter, I grew up in Richfield; he in Brecksville) and had horrible service. We often meet our friends at 3 different establishments in the Bath/ Richfield area, central location, every time we come into town 3-5 times a year (we summer in Ohio for part of the year at our Norton house. He went in, place was full so waited for table. Others served after him and his party. When he went to bar for beers while waiting for an open table, ignored. Finally when one of the two horrible male bartenders finally asked what he wanted my husband replied “ three Dos Equis” rude guy replied “ we don’t carry them” and walked away without even asking if he wanted something else. Ok I understand catering to locals but as semi locals who do frequent Teschners since it reopened years ago we will no longer ever step foot into this restaurant. I can say the two friends that met him up will no longer go. They left Teschners went down the road to one of the other two establishments we frequent while in town and had...

After living only 7 miles away from this gem for over 10 years, this was our first time in. I was tired of the same old places and wanted to try something new to us. Little did I know that this Richfield staple was so close by and so good. We were lucky we didn't have to wait for a table. The space is small and perfect. It took a while to figure out what we wanted as they have quite a selection of options. Even for my vegetarian diet. The brussell sprouts were tasty and unique. The marble caprese salad was yum and my husband had nothing but great things to say about the Cubano sandwich. Oh and the cheescake dessert..heavenly. Priced very reasonable for the menu and quality of food. The staff was beyond friendly. Kudos to this family for keeping this gem alive and thriving in the community. Thank goodness I wanted to try something new. We will be back!

Very nice, good food, good service. Quite a different menu, which sePerates them from just some bar food. Much, much better. Consider for this area, close to fine dining. And decently priced. I highly recommend the marble caprese salad. $4, not real big, not real small. Perfect select of flavors. Also this establishment has fresh mojitos, they grow their own mint, which makes a world of difference. $7 cost. If you are looking for a packed, very busy atmosphere, then join them on a Friday evening 5:00-8:00. More then likely you may have to wait for a seat. Other then that direct time. It's more laid back. With normal amount of clientele. $19 .. 12 oz new York. Best value on steak. And something most restaurants do not offer is duck breast. $18. Also, want to mention a phenomenal carrot puree. Very good. God bless you all in the name of Jesus Christ!

Driven past this place 100 times. Today was our first time to stop and won't be our last. It's a small place with big flavors. I had the Blue Moon over Richfield Burger. It was grilled to my liking and was oh so juicy. It's topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions, crumbled blu cheese and a house made blu cheese sauce. My girlfriend had the dry rubbed mango habanero wings with celery and house made blu cheese dressing and a side of mango habanero sauce. They were crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. We both had the soup of the day which was corn and shrimp chowder. It was delicious and had a good amount of shrimp in it. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any of our needs. Definitely would recommend to anyone if you're in the area.
