Wendy's — Restaurant in Richfield

They regularly mess up orders here but that is to be expected with the people that are working in fast food in this day and age.

I’ve been coming here since I was 3 years old. My top three memories here over the years have been

(2021) - Came here around midnight to order a biggie bag. Customer in front of me kept falling over. Ended up getting arrested and charged with a DUI since he drove there.

(2016) - Arrived after a smoke sesh with a few of my friends at like 1am to devour some Wendy’s. We were waiting forever to place our order. There was a lot of commotion in the kitchen and then all of a sudden the whole crew walked out, got in their cars, and left. Manager lady came out crying and saying “My whole crew just left, we’re closed!”

(2019) - Once again during the wee hours of the morning two of the workers started yelling at each other about how they were each doing a terrible job and messing stuff up, not doing any work etc. I was standing there just trying to place my order. The yelling continued until one of the workers put his hands on the other worker and a physical altercation ensued! Kinda exciting to watch but the manager broke it up and sent both of the workers home.

Moral of the story, things used to get interesting during the late night shift but I’m pretty sure they don’t stay open that...

Customer service is really terrible! It took about 15 minutes to get my order, while the people behind the counter didn't seem to care. There was only one gentleman in front of me, and he had been waiting a long time, too. The young guy taking orders never smiled the entire time, and was on the verge of being rude to us. When the other gentleman asked for extra mayo, he was simply told, "We don't have any." He handed the guy his bag without any apology for the long wait, without a smile, without a thank you come back to see us or anything. His attitude was like we were a bother being there. When I finally got my burger order, I left and ate it in the car on the road. Unfortunately, I should have checked the bag first. I found that my burger was a chicken sandwich, and the fries were cold! I ate one or two, and the rest later went into the trash. I told the boy behind the counter on my way out that I didn't know if he was having a bad day or what, but his customer service needed lots of work, or he should find another job, and that I wouldn't be stopping there again. He just looked at me like I was crazy, and didn't say anything. It's sad, because I love Wendy's; it's just terrible what some managers let their...

Went in to order two taco salads and was told there was none. So I called my wife to see what she wants and she said chilli and cheese baked potato with sour cream on the side. I ordered a Dave's double meal. I get my order and head back to our truck to eat. I'm eating my stale fries and my wife says hey where's my baked potato. I look at the receipt and he put a large chilli with cheese on the order, no baked potato. So I take my happy a$$ back inside to get my wonderful wife what she wanted. So as I'm ordering her chilli n cheese baked potato wth sour creme on the side I tell Dan about my stale fries. Nothing is said or to make right so I order fries again. He hands me my order and I look in the bag and see my fries and baked potato So I go back to my truck. Give my wife the bag and she hands my fries to me and pulls hers out and says hey where's the chilli on my baked potato and where's my sour cream. Right about now I'm to pi$$ed off to go back inside because Wendy's must not care about who they hire or the customer service they are giving people. Dave if you give a phuk fire this crew.
